Uncle Albert Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 Wigan are in the League because they earned enough points last season, simple. See people still use the awful word that is 'This' on here when replying, some things will never change.

Fox92 Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 I like Wigan and am glad they are in the Premier League. People always bang on about them but there are more boring teams in the division, such as Blackburn and Bolton. Wigan is a rugby town that's all. Take into perspective the quality players they have lost over the years which people seem to forget about, such as, Jimmy Bullard, Jason Roberts, Emile Heskey, Graham Cavanah and especially Leighton Baines who is now one of the best left backs in the country.

VinceNoir Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/12040/7296962/Quarterly-review Quarterly review. Quite interesting really. I reckon Aguero/Dzeko/Rooney should be ahead of Suarez. Haven't seen much of Joe Allen. The rest seems allright.

Valencia as well! Don't mind Wigan really and feel sorry for them especially knowing that as a club they are just a stepping stone for moves to other bigger clubs.

Very true of course, but look at where Wigan is. The place is sorrounded by the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool and Everton. I imagine most people around those parts opt for one of those four clubs instead of supporting Wigan. Valencia as well! Don't mind Wigan really and feel sorry for them especially knowing that as a club they are just a stepping stone for moves to other bigger clubs. Exactly.

When the day comes that Tigers get bigger crowds than us, and children are regularly seen around the city wearing Saracens/Wasps/Leinster rugby shirts, THEN you can say Leicester's a "rugby town".
accessory Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 Suarez is a huge cnut too. Very good player with a poor attitude, and I hate how 'experts' are brown-nosing him and rarely picking up on his petulant behaviour, which is sometimes so bad it makes Ronaldo appear like a role model. FA bring racial abuse charge against Suarez Didn't think Evra and United were the types to play the race card for the sake of it. Clearly there is evidence and if Suarez is guilty, then he should face a long ban.

Clearly there is evidence and if Suarez is guilty, then he should face a long ban. This will open a massive can of worms now. Evra has cried wolf before with the Chelsea groundsman - nothing was proven. Evra is a fvcking massive knob, and with his claims of 'Suarez abused me at least ten times', well where's the video evidence? I think the FA might just have had quite a bit of pressure put on them by the media hype to make a decision like this to prove a point.

The Chelsea case was not brought by Evra himself, but by his club. The fact that the Suarez allegations have not been dismissed by the FA, as Liverpool had hoped, suggests there is evidence to back them up and it will be looked at. It doesn't have to be broadcast on Sky.
shen Posted 17 November 2011 Posted 17 November 2011 Just how obtuse are footballers if they have a go at people's skin colour? Hasn't the world moved on since the early 20th century?
Fox92 Posted 19 November 2011 Posted 19 November 2011 Anyone watching Norwich v Arsenal? Arsenal are having all the play and Martin (Norwich defender) has cleared 3 chances off of the line, no lie! One mistake and Norwich scored, but Van Persie made it 1-1 with a good goal. I can see Arsenal winning, both Norwich full backs are good going forward but don't seem good when called upon in defence.
Corky Posted 19 November 2011 Posted 19 November 2011 Keeper Paul Robinson has won a penalty for Blackburn! Yakubu puts it away, 3-3.
leicesterisme Posted 19 November 2011 Posted 19 November 2011 Stoke fans again showing their class throwing coins at Joey Barton. Wankers.
Fox92 Posted 19 November 2011 Posted 19 November 2011 Stoke fans again showing their class throwing coins at Joey Barton. Wankers. I hate Stoke the long ball ba%&ards. And I hate their fans. I remember when we got relegated and they were promoted, they didn't even celebrate they were all just singing in our faces. I hope they get relegated.
Bert Posted 19 November 2011 Posted 19 November 2011 I'm sure the ref in the Everton game was the bellend that had us against forest. Again showing incompetence, and I'm wondering how on earth is he being allowed to ref any league, let alone the prem.
