lcfcadam Posted 5 December 2011 Posted 5 December 2011 Anyone think that was a red card for Spearing? Looked laughable to me...
ScouseFox Posted 5 December 2011 Posted 5 December 2011 Kammy summed it up nicely on Twitter: "Jay Spearing sent off for tackling".
Fox92 Posted 5 December 2011 Posted 5 December 2011 Anyone think that was a red card for Spearing? Looked laughable to me... No, I don't think it was. I agree it was laughable.
marko Posted 5 December 2011 Posted 5 December 2011 Anyone think that was a red card for Spearing? Looked laughable to me... Terrible decision. The way things are going it'll be a non-contact sport soon.
AjcW Posted 5 December 2011 Posted 5 December 2011 What a cracker. Was ready to come on and say most entertaining 0-0 I've seen but yep, well done Fulham. Harsh red card but think Fulham would of won anyway.
Corky Posted 5 December 2011 Posted 5 December 2011 Fulham have to be the least offensive club in the Premier League.
AjcW Posted 6 December 2011 Posted 6 December 2011 Fulham have to be the least offensive club in the Premier League. I cant work out which definition of Offensive you are using here so my reply may be completely wrong as I have gone for you meaning least attacking... in which case... EH?!?!?!? Fulham play some of the better football in this league, passing and moving, always creating chances, they have only scored one goal less than liverpool this season and in todays game created a total of 20! attempts as opposed to liverpool's 17. And a few weeks ago in a Europa league game I saw them score two of the best most creative goals I have seen in a long time. However if your using it in the sense that they aren't offensive, as in they are nice to watch, have likeable fans a likeable squad and manager and play football the way it should be played then yes I agree .
Corky Posted 6 December 2011 Posted 6 December 2011 I meant it as in very few have a bad word to say about them. They play good football, don't have particularly dirty players, have a popular manager, and a larger-than-life chairman.

Uncle Albert Posted 6 December 2011 Posted 6 December 2011 When you say Fulham 'created' 20 attempts to Liverpools 17 I think that's utter shit, they didn't create they gave the ball to Dempsey and he shot from way out and tested Reina about 5 times, fair play with the goal though he reacted quickest. Fulham don't play good football, they are boring. Until the awful red card decision they couldn't break Liverpool down. I sometime wonder what games some of you lot actually watch. How he has sent Jay off I do not know, shocking. Another decision has gone against Liverpool and again cost Liverpool points. Man of the Match - Mark Schwarzer

Uncle Albert Posted 6 December 2011 Posted 6 December 2011 I thought you were describing Liverpool there... Clearly not as I said Fulham.
shen Posted 6 December 2011 Posted 6 December 2011 Clearly not as I said Fulham. Not in the best of moods huh?
Father Ted Posted 6 December 2011 Posted 6 December 2011 How he has sent Jay off I do not know, shocking. Another decision has gone against Liverpool and again cost Liverpool points. I'm guessing you've forgot about Rodwell's sending off, which came just after Dalglish's 'meeting' with the FA and Refs about their treatment of Liverpool. In fact, it's all mythically made up by their whiny old twat of a manager. What comes around goes around, deserve everything you get for Suarez's diving and cheating and Lucas' surrounding of the ref at EVERY foul.
AjcW Posted 6 December 2011 Posted 6 December 2011 Fulham don't play good football? . Think someone's upset about losing . I'd quite like to question what game you were watching! A chance is a chance no matter how it is created, just unfortunate that nearly 80 million pounds worth of talent didnt create or score as many on the night!

A chance is a chance no matter how it is created, just unfortunate that nearly 80 million pounds worth of talent didnt create or score as many on the night! No Fulham don't play good Football, tell me where they broke Liverpool down before Jay Spearing was sent off? I can think of one chance in the 1st half. All they done was give the ball to Dempsey and he shot, yet according to uou this is good football? Zamora was worse than Carroll and that's pretty hard to do at the minute. It's funny how everyone goes back to the price of players when teams lose but when teams win nothing is said. I think you'll find they did create chances, did Liverpool not hit the post twice and have Suarez's goal wrongly disallowed? Yet again I question what game you watched. Your opinion on football wasn't respected the last time I was on the forum and it still isn't now.

Yet in the same Merseyside Derby Hibbert should of been sent off for 2 yellows, levelled out. 'Whiny old twat'? Haha, you've lowered yourself to slating a legend of the game? Well done, proves what a spacker you are. The same Suarez who also try's to stay on his feet bug is repeatedly taken down? Look who is the most fouled player in the League since January, Suarez has been fouled 70 times. Instead of looking at the back pages of a paper for your opinions why not have a look into them first before making yourself look a complete clown.
chuck'em Posted 7 December 2011 Posted 7 December 2011 Am I the only person who thought spearing deserved the red card? He did play the ball but it was technically a 2 footed tackle and he could easily have broken Dembele's ankle
AjcW Posted 7 December 2011 Posted 7 December 2011 Your opinion on football wasn't respected the last time I was on the forum and it still isn't now. Which is why you are the only one supporting your argument and yet mine is backed up by others. Okay then! Fulham play good, passing, football, I'm not saying they do it for 90 minutes! Not even Barca could claim that, but compared to other teams around them in the league they play how the game should be played and deserve a lot more success than they get. If they had won half the games they have drawn this season they would be top six pushing top four.

You are a clown, won half there games, they haven't won them because they aren't good enough, thats like me saying if Liverpool had scored everytime they've hit the wood work they would be 4 point behind City. One person has agreed with you about Fulham being a good side, so stop deluding yourself and thinking they are. Oh and congratulations on answering my questions, I'm going to take it as you can't answer them or I'm right. Either is fine.
