I'd be pretty damn worried myself. We are not nearly good enough for the top 2 as it is but if we brought in Kebe and Beckford for example, we might just be. Wait til January and it might be too late. Thing is with loans is that they are not needed by their parent clubs - that means they are either young an unproven or older and out of favour. It would be a terrible shame if we didn't get any of these 3.

He said he hoped to make one more signing AT LEAST. HE said Beckford is probably on many clubs lists. And that we are not necessarily desperate. as much as he didnt sound over confident, I guess he has to be cautious.

It would be a terrible shame if we didn't get any of these 3. 100% agree, we're miles away from top 2 quality, arguably not as good as last season where we would have finished 7th if the season started when Sven joined we need Kebe + 1 (Maynard, Beckford, Jelavic or someone) IMO to help elevate us to the next level

I agree that another attacker or two are important if we're serious about promotion, but I don't see why it's important that they're permanent, rather than loan signings. This is nonsense! Are you suggesting that if Man Utd/Chelsea make a player available for loan, we should avoid that player because they can't get in the first team at Man Utd/Chelsea? There will be some great players available for loan from the PL. We do not need to spend a fortune today.

We got 2 highly rated young lads from Chelsea last season and they were gash, we aren't going to get players of Daniel Sturridge's quality, and which Chelsea has been is going to come to us? Just as examples.
