Nod.E Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 Bikey to Leicester Was alerted to this by my mate who is a Burnley fan. Says he is a brilliant defender but is prone to lapses in concentration.
Guest ttfn Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 Can't see how he'd be anything above 3rd choice.
Nod.E Posted 21 August 2011 Author Posted 21 August 2011 My mate seems to think Bamba is off to Blackburn and Bikey is seen as a replacement. No idea what his source is.
sphericalfox Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 Who's going out on loan or being shipped out then? I doubt this one.
Nod.E Posted 21 August 2011 Author Posted 21 August 2011 Can't see how he'd be anything above 3rd choice. I went to the Burnley vs Cardiff match last season when I was up in the north-west for uni. He had a cracking game that day. Solid in the tackle and arguably even more composed on the ball than Tunch. Perhaps too composed. A good passer of the ball, too. Rodirguez's goal came from a Bikey defence splitting through ball from the half way line. Would be decent, not sure how reliable the poster is with his info, though.

DB11 Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 If he was available surely Blackburn would prefer him to Bamba? I would, anyway
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 Interesting. Could mean tunchev stays with palace for longer? It's such a left field shout I have to think theres some truth in it?
Nod.E Posted 21 August 2011 Author Posted 21 August 2011 May I add that I would bring him purely in the hope that we would continue Burnley's chant for him: Andre Bikey, Andre Bikey, Andre Bikey Andre Bikey, Andre Bikey, Andre Bikey ANDRE BIKEY, ANDRE BIKEY, ANDRE BIKEY ANDRE BIKEY, ANDRE BIKEY ANDRE BIKEY, ANDRE BIKEY Andre Bikey, Andre Bikey, Andre Bikey ANDRE BIKEY, ANDRE BIKEY ANDRE BIKEY, ANDRE BIKEY Andre Bikey, Andre Bikey, Andre Bikey ANDRE BIKEY, ANDRE BIKEY ANDRE BIKEY, ANDRE BIKEY Andre Bikey, Andre Bikey, Andre Bikey ANDRE BIKEY To the tune of The Smiths - 'Panic': Hang the DJ, Hang the DJ, Hang the DJ Hang the DJ, Hang the DJ, Hang the DJ HANG THE DJ, HANG THE DJ, HANG THE DJ HANG THE DJ, HANG THE DJ HANG THE DJ, HANG THE DJ Hang the DJ, Hang the DJ, Hang the DJ HANG THE DJ, HANG THE DJ HANG THE DJ, HANG THE DJ Hang the DJ, Hang the DJ, Hang the DJ HANG THE DJ, HANG THE DJ HANG THE DJ, HANG THE DJ Hang the DJ, Hang the DJ, Hang the DJ HANG THE DJ
shiv Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 wouldn't be a bad signing if it did happen, but not sure if we need another centre back... striker is priority
Nod.E Posted 21 August 2011 Author Posted 21 August 2011 Has he partnered Mills before? Not sure. Will know Nuge, though.
stix Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 Remember him having a mare down at the then Walkers last season. Proper unit though. Would rather have Tunch back if we are in for another centre back.
Hammond Organ Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 wouldn't be a bad signing if it did happen, but not sure if we need another centre back... striker is priority We have conceded 6 in 3 games, through a few lapses in defence. Maybe more central defence cover wouldn't go amiss. And we will probably get a striker too.
lcfcsnow Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 Ive said all along we won't get promoted with Bamba in defence. Not overly keen on Bikey though, just get Tunch back him and Mills would be quality if he can stay fit.
Ozwin Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 Bikey is quality. Absolute monster too. Don't like this constant chopping and changing of the defence though, we're not going to get anywhere with an inconsistent back line.
jonthefox Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 Dont rate him. set your sights a tad higher sven.
Jaspa Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 Gettin on abit isn't he? I guess as a back-up/competition could work, and if Bamba leaves near the transfer window closing. But shouldn't be first team, Burnley arnt exactly solid
He's not bald Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 Bull..not even really worth my typing finger!

Walshy5 Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 If this is true i fear this could spell the end for tunchev
shiv Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 We have conceded 6 in 3 games, through a few lapses in defence. Maybe more central defence cover wouldn't go amiss. And we will probably get a striker too. One penalty, one error by Weale and a free kick can't be counted as lapses in defence! Literally have no idea who we'll get as our striker
Jaspa Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 He is 26 Didn't realise, looks older tho Only if Bamba leaves then, which I DONT want to happen
