MC Prussian Posted 1 September 2011 Posted 1 September 2011 If he scores a few like this 2nite for hull he will have him back....click video 2 http://eurorivals.ne...o_20110901.html Sweet strike that. Thunderous.
wakeyfox01 Posted 1 September 2011 Posted 1 September 2011 Against Azerbaijan and with no-one within ten yards of him.
the_foxes_till_i_die Posted 1 September 2011 Posted 1 September 2011 Against Azerbaijan and with no-one within ten yards of him. Oh **** off seriously
Bugg Posted 1 September 2011 Posted 1 September 2011 Oh **** off seriously Their keeper was worse than Chris Weale, he was at fault for almost every goal tonight.
moseeds Posted 1 September 2011 Posted 1 September 2011 Just shows what a bit of self belief and confidence can do. Hoping this loan works out in our favour and doesn't turn into another gradel disaster.
Guest shearfox Posted 1 September 2011 Posted 1 September 2011 He scored against a side that wouldn't cut it in the conference....
the_foxes_till_i_die Posted 1 September 2011 Posted 1 September 2011 Their keeper was worse than Chris Weale, he was at fault for almost every goal tonight. But you cant take away that it was a sweet hit and alot of keepers wouldnt of stopped that
Bugg Posted 1 September 2011 Posted 1 September 2011 But you cant take away that it was a sweet hit and alot of keepers wouldnt of stopped that Look at his positioning, he was near enough stood in the middle of the box. And like wakeyfox said, he had all the time in the world to get it on target.
the_foxes_till_i_die Posted 1 September 2011 Posted 1 September 2011 Theres just no pleasing some people on this Forum, U moan he puts it in row z or cant hit a barn door ...then when he scores a nice goal its ..."well the keeper was at fault all he had to do was get it on target"
The Year Of The Fox Posted 1 September 2011 Posted 1 September 2011 He scored against a side that wouldn't cut it in the conference.... In this instance its beside the point. Playing a crap opposition did not help him score.
Corky Posted 1 September 2011 Posted 1 September 2011 He will do the biz, I'm positive. I hope he does. Shut some of the ****** up on here. Perhaps. Is pearce that 'desperate' for strikers or is it unthinkable to think sir sven may be wrong? Er, we don't know if he's wrong. He may be a total flop at Hull.
stix Posted 1 September 2011 Posted 1 September 2011 Great goal really well taken by Waggy. The keeper WAS nowhere to be seen and the defence DID give him alot of room. Either way, he still took his chance well. He hasnt done that for the past 48-odd games for Leicester. I know i know he hasnt been given the chance blah blah but he has played for City since Sven took over plenty of times, whether it be off the bench or not, and has very rarely done the business. This move to Hull is the best thing that could have happened to Waghorn, new club with some old friends who believe in him. Hopefully he starts banging the goals in for them because when the window opens we could get some decent dough for him.
Babylon Posted 1 September 2011 Posted 1 September 2011 What a shock, the usual goons are out in force after one goal
Guest Bilo Posted 1 September 2011 Posted 1 September 2011 One screamer against Azerbaijan's kids and we've dropped a bollock? See how he's getting on at Hull by the end of the month at the earliest before making a judgement.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 1 September 2011 Posted 1 September 2011 Er, we don't know if he's wrong. He may be a total flop at Hull. Did't mean that. I meant does Pearce see something Sven doesn't?
funkyrobot Posted 1 September 2011 Posted 1 September 2011 What a shock, the usual goons are out in force after one goal What a shock the usual goons are out in force when people dare to question some of Sven's decisions.
Kent Posted 1 September 2011 Posted 1 September 2011 One screamer against Azerbaijan's kids and we've dropped a bollock? See how he's getting on at Hull by the end of the month at the earliest before making a judgement. It wouldn't surprise me at all if he goes there, has his old mentor Nigel's arm round his shoulder and starts performing for them. We shouldn't really judge whether or not we should have sold him based on what he does for Hull, but instead try not to forget what he did, or should I say didn't do, for us in the 12 months prior to the move. And, if he goes and bangs them in for fun, suddenly we can command a much higher fee for him.
Stevosevic Posted 1 September 2011 Posted 1 September 2011 If you don't think a Championship keeper would have saved that then the mind boggles.
Thracian Posted 1 September 2011 Posted 1 September 2011 You say that but Pearson has a knack of getting these players to perform. He got next to sod-all out of Gradel. And this season. with six points from five games, goal difference of minus three, 13th in the table and Fryatt having one goal from six matches (way down on last year's average) I'd say Pearson's doing just about as I expected. Waghorn will probably start with a goal or two as he enjoys the relief of being back in a club where he's wanted but I don't see him overcoming his technical limitations overnight any more than Fryatt will. Obviously they might give one another a bit of support but really I think the Championship will take a lot more getting out of than when Pearson was here. It's not that I think Waghorn and Fryatt are useless footballers, they're not. I just don't believe they're good enough to win promotion. West Ham look near certainties to go up and Southampton have to be a threat. Pearson won't ever attack like those two but they're by no means the only ones. I still contend that City will be fighting for a play-off spot rather than anything better and with Beckford/Nugent as our first choice strikers that gives some idea of what Pearson's competing with. He's no mug but he's already effectively five points off the pace, even for the play-offs, and I'll be surprised if that improves much. As ever, he just won't score enough goals. Who dares will win in the Championship honours.

I dont know why alot of our fans would prefer to see average players they like rather than see them replaced with better. Yakubu/Nugent/Beckford - better strikers than Fryatt and Waghorn, let's try and move forwards, not stand still.

Stevosevic Posted 1 September 2011 Posted 1 September 2011 Two words. Chris Weale. Very true. Except our very own Chris Weale.
SemperEadem Posted 1 September 2011 Posted 1 September 2011 http://www.101greatgoals.com/videodisplay/england-azerbaijan-u21-15354638/ His goal was a banger. Edit. Sorry just seen it was posted earlier.
