RowlattsFox Posted 1 September 2011 Posted 1 September 2011 I think Sven does like Waghorn, and has said a few times he doesn't want him to go but understands his frustrations, Waghorn seems to be the one who wants out. Waggy had a great opportunity this pre-season to impress Sven and prove he can be a big player for us. From what I seen of the games in Sweden and Austria he didn't do that. Schlupp impressed and has jumped ahead of him. I can see him doing ok at Hull, I like him but he's very much like Hume in my opinion. Also, seeing as there is not a thread about it, what do people know about Shane Byrne? Going to Bury is a decent level for your a first loan move.
Corky Posted 1 September 2011 Posted 1 September 2011 He'll do well there. He might even come back to us, you never know.
Libertine Posted 1 September 2011 Posted 1 September 2011 Unbelievable. Not least the quote that they'd watched him in the warm-up and he had a cracking left foot.
Ozwin Posted 1 September 2011 Posted 1 September 2011 If he was wearing a City shirt that'd have hit me right at the back of SK1.
accessory Posted 1 September 2011 Posted 1 September 2011 Excellent finish by Mr Waghorn. This. The type of goal he used to score on a regular basis before Sven got hold of him.
leicesterisme Posted 1 September 2011 Posted 1 September 2011 This. The type of goal he used to score on a regular basis before Sven got hold of him. Oh please, he was fvcking awesome under Sousa wasn't he.
Aleksz Posted 1 September 2011 Posted 1 September 2011 Oh please, he was fvcking awesome under Sousa wasn't he. Because he played that many games under sousa didnt he?
The Year Of The Fox Posted 1 September 2011 Posted 1 September 2011 That LCFC B team is really coming along at Hull Yeh we're too good for them now. Bit like we were for Gradel. Good luck to waggy, good player and have a feeling it'll come back to haunt us. (got hull as my playoff winners)
The Year Of The Fox Posted 1 September 2011 Posted 1 September 2011 Martin keown talking sense about waggy.
Ozwin Posted 1 September 2011 Posted 1 September 2011 Well if Waggy does the biz at Hull then we have nothing to worry about do we? Save us buying another striker in January.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 1 September 2011 Posted 1 September 2011 He will do the biz, I'm positive. I hope he does. Shut some of the ****** up on here. Perhaps. Is pearce that 'desperate' for strikers or is it unthinkable to think sir sven may be wrong?
funkyrobot Posted 1 September 2011 Posted 1 September 2011 Waggy won't be back. Sven doesn't like him, the loan will either become a permanent in Jan or he'll get another six months loan. I liked the lad but Sven has his favourites and Waghorn certainly wasn't one of them. Pearson will look after him.
