Bellend Sebastian Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 For a company with the track record of making programmes like Sky has, I think it's pretty good. I work with someone who is almost as insular as Karl, so I don't find it that unbelieveable. As for Family Guy and South Park, they've been running for an age and I reckon are both a bit tired as a result. The humour of the two programmes is very different, so I can quite see that some like one rather than the other - but I can happily watch both and I don't think there's much difference in the quality of the writing, it's just different styles, and both have dud episodes every so often. Talking of dud episodes I saw a recent Simpsons a couple of weeks ago and it was ace, and this is a programme where the words 'brand new episode' usually mean to me it's going to be a disappointment, and which I'd nearly given up on
Darkon84 Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 I love that film!!! It's so funny! This bit cracks me up every time Try Parker and Matt Stone are legends. Personally This song cracks me up. Strangley catchy
Trav Le Bleu Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 Matt Stone and Trey Parker. Now we are talking! My favourite movie ever... That was the most juvenile piece of "comedy" I've seen since nursery. What was it called, just so I don't stumble into watching it by accident like?
@mrtonycox Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 Starts September 23rd according to wiki. Cool, thanks for the info.. Will set a reminder.
cambridgefox Posted 6 September 2011 Posted 6 September 2011 OK, so Sky allowed Gervais to make an unfunny elongated practical joke on a bloke who pretended to be a miserable git. It was about as funny as having your scrotum cheese grated by David Mellor. But now Idiot Abroad 2 has been made. Why? And can I have the share of my subscription fee back that making this cack cost please. Idiot Abroad. Are you going anywhere nice?

Maybe my taste has changed?

Bellend Sebastian Posted 6 September 2011 Posted 6 September 2011 I think the simpsons has gone downhill fast, I find all the newer episodes really poor. Maybe my taste has changed? Most of them are dismal, I agree, but I saw one from 2010 that was so different from the other recent ones that it must have had completely different writers. I've no idea how big the writing team is there, or whether individiuals write different episodes. Anyway, whoever wrote that one - and I wish I could remember which one it was - should be given more of them. Mind you, given the choice I'd probably watch Beavis and Butthead anyway

Fox92 Posted 3 October 2011 Posted 3 October 2011 I thought the second episode was better than the first.
