Dan LCFC Posted 3 October 2011 Share Posted 3 October 2011 If we sell that 2,700 I'll suck my own bollocks. No chance on earth at £30.
Tommeh Posted 3 October 2011 Share Posted 3 October 2011 For anyone thinking of going on the train from Leicester, be warned that there are maintenance works on the line meaning that all trains to Birmingham require you to change at Derby (taking twice as long as they would otherwise). Also note that the first train will only get you to Birmingham at 12.09, meaning you will have to go pretty much straight to the ground. Thanks for that Chloe. Horrible, horrible news however. Will probably be a quick dash in the car now unfortunatly. We'll comfortably take 2k+ I'd have thought.

Leicesterpool Posted 3 October 2011 Share Posted 3 October 2011 Won't be surprised if the police advised them to do this, to but off the away following from Leicester fans. Hopefully I might be able to get a train to Cov, then Cov to Brum.

Fox92 Posted 4 October 2011 Share Posted 4 October 2011 Been allocated 2700 That is initial though, just incase. I would have thought we would have probably taken all the tickets for Birmingham, but taking into consideration the television and the prices, I'm not too sure although I can still see 2,000+ going. lcfc_amie Posted 5 October 2011 Share Posted 5 October 2011 Just ordered my ticket for this The 1st away game i'm going to on my own. If anybody sees a ginger girl who is on her own (probably looking a bit lost), who looks about 14 (eventhough I am 18!), in her Leicester shirt. Come and say hello, I'm quiet, but really nice once you get me talking Can't wait! Hopefully will be a good game

I swear they mess up that line just for the fun of it, has to be one of the most unreliable I've ever come across... Just ordered my ticket for this The 1st away game i'm going to on my own. Leicesterpool Posted 5 October 2011 Share Posted 5 October 2011 Nearest station to the St Andrews is Bordesley, but to go there you have to go to Moor Street.

They will most likely check for student ID (if you have a student ticket) but they can't really prove that you are not under 18.

Dan LCFC Posted 7 October 2011 Share Posted 7 October 2011 Oh for fvck sake, no trains from Leics-Birmingham, where do I live? Narborough. Fantastic. So instead of a simple journey in which it's the only away of the season in-fact I wouldn't have to change for, and now I've got to change twice. Seriously are these people just stupid? They shut a Leicester to Birmingham line, when Leicester play Birmingham, I have a funny feeling that's not an accident because that's just too daft to laugh at. Pretty sure they always choose to do maintenance work on a Sunday, it has nothing to do with the football. They aren't going to stop the trains midweek now are they?
