Hollism94 Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 Had a dream I was watching soccer saturday and it was 2-2 (King and Beckford). Then I realised I had tickets for the game and forgot :L Would love to see us get our first convincing win of the season. ie: 2 or 3-nil

Austin Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 We'll win this because i'm sitting in the exact same seats with my exact friend John as we did for Soton game the other week .. No drama. 3-1 Leicester.
lcfc_sam_p Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 I think we'll win this and keep a clean sheet. Going for a 3-0 win. Danns, Beckford, and Mills as the scorers.
Legend_in_blue Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 We shouldn't be concerned about Brighton at all. Their style of play will make this an easy win for us. If we can eliminate the silly mistakes at the back and if Bamba doesn't mess about with the ball, it should be even easier. Come on, it's Brighton. Brighton. The mighty Brighton. We will thrash them. Looking forward to it. Weak people feel pressure so Beckford should put 3 past them.
Uncle Monty Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 I had a dream that we lost 7-0. Not many of my dreams come true though.
wellyfox Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 For the first time in 18months am not working a saturday and still can't go. as am laid up with a back injury. The score as long as they get nil and we don't i'll be fookin happy And if we beat em 10-0 i still won't be jumping up and down

High expectations are fine and dandy, but a 2-1 would do it for me. Brighton are no pushovers.
Collymore Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 I watched the extended highlights on Barnsley player and we seemed really lack lust on the ball but we seemed to work very hard when they had it. There were times when we were diving in left right and centre looking like they'd die for the club. I just think we're trying too hard at the moment, if we score the first goal today I think it will be 3 or 4 goals again.
MikeyT Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 We'll win this because i'm sitting in the exact same seats with my exact friend John as we did for Soton game the other week .. No drama. 3-1 Leicester. Well it's fate then.
Clazie Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 Can't see us keeping a clean sheet at the moment. 2-2. Would like schupp to start in a front 2 with Beckford as well, but I am Jeff's biggest fan and there a little biased.
Nick Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 My money is on a Leicester win 2-1 or 3-1........
sphericalfox Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 I think I'm going to remain optimistically pessimistic on our result and sit on the fence with a 2-2 draw. That way if we win I'll be happy, and if we lose, I can spend the rest of the week attacking Sven, his tactical ineptness, over paid players, and join the +1 backslapping negatoids.
Happy Fox Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 Unlikely to keep a clean sheet at the moment, A 2-1 win would suffice come on City.
Nick Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 I'm interested to see if Johnson makes the bench today and gets a bit of time.

Guest shearfox Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 Possibility perhaps, he will defo play in the carling cup game against Cardiff. Hope so he is everything we are missing in the midfield area.
Bagworthblue Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 Kasper Peltier Mills St ledger Konchesky Moussa King Fernandes Dyer Schlupp Beckford Subs Weale Bamba Wellens Danns Vassell Good call on Moussa - I think with that team above we either win 5-4 0r lose 5 -4 - very attacking but a bit weak defensively in midfield
kingfox Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 God knows why people are dropping Bamba from line ups, he has been our best defender this season and he is far better than Matt Mills, of whom i'd like to see on the bench today.
Bagworthblue Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 I think the result will either be a draw or either Leicester or Brighton will win by 1 goal or more! I'd even put a bet on that!
Legend_in_blue Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 Good call on Moussa - I think with that team above we either win 5-4 0r lose 5 -4 - very attacking but a bit weak defensively in midfield Moussa isn't good enough at this level.
Bagworthblue Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 Moussa isn't good enough at this level. It's all a matter of opinion - I don't think he has been given a decent run and is young. Same was said about Lineker after only a handful of starts he won't play anyway so not really worth debating
