Jakemoore Posted 6 December 2011 Posted 6 December 2011 Considering I'm only 17, I don't drive and I live in London I think the 18 away games and 7 home games is quite decent. I can't wait to add to it this season with hopefully, Millwall, Palace and Brighton all away being the most likely additions
ibbosuk Posted 7 December 2011 Posted 7 December 2011 400 to 450 games. Does not seem that many considering its a life time of watching Leicester City.
Weller in Tights Posted 7 December 2011 Posted 7 December 2011 Been going since 1968. Of those years, about 20 as a season ticket holder. In my teens went most away games (a lot of fun in the 70's !!!! ask your dad if your on the young side). Still go a few away, maybe 6-10 a season. Of course there are then all the cup games, play-offs, pre -season friendlies (actually was at the Valencia game in Austria this summer). So god knows, too old and lazy to work it out. What I would say is I still love it, yeah the atmosphere is no where near as good, but I still love it. I'm in a foul mood when we lose but very high when we win. And the Cup Final wins and Play-off wins have to be up there with the greatest days of my life.
BoneDog Posted 8 December 2011 Posted 8 December 2011 300-400 I reckon. Not sure without studying the fixture lists since 1990. Bad memory. Slacked off lately. The last season ticket I had was League 1 but hoping to get cracking again soon.
????? Posted 8 December 2011 Posted 8 December 2011 not missed a league home game since 82/83 season missed a few cup games here and there and on average attend 10-15 away games a season so its quite a few
tylesta Posted 8 December 2011 Posted 8 December 2011 i used to save my ticket stubs years ago and don't know where they are now! but since the days of drinking to much at football i have forgotten, will admit i don't attend many games anymore but when i retire from playing saturdays i will be defo getting season tickets for my 2 sons and daughter

Fox1651 Posted 10 December 2011 Posted 10 December 2011 Havent been to a game since the Reading and Bristol City home games that we lost in August Still havent been since then, not even going today, although im off work this weekend, cant get enthusiastic at the moment, help me please help me!!!
Fox1651 Posted 11 December 2011 Posted 11 December 2011 Yesterday just proved why i am still not enthusiastic, there is no excitement around the place, we need to get on a roll with a decent footballing side playing attractive football and i fear we are still some way short of that. I just hope NP can do some wheelerdealing in January

PAULCFC Posted 11 December 2011 Posted 11 December 2011 Started going on and off in the mid 70's.First game against Palace with my dad.Still says i was more interested in looking round at anything but the match.....but then again i was 6 on the popular side at filbo(main stand standing).Remember the Milne years and Pleat years. Was there for the Oxford utd match and does anyone else remember the Swindon Town match when we were 3-0 down at half time, but managed to draw 3-3.So,basically to many and i used to get a program every game.......i'd have to get a new house to store em now if i still bought them.I blame my dad for getting me into it,but my two sons will say the same in a few years!
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 11 December 2011 Posted 11 December 2011 Over 200 games not as many as I would of wished though, missed a lot.
Corky Posted 11 December 2011 Posted 11 December 2011 Working for the BBC must hinder your attendance.

I was there on that day, wasnt it someone like Marc North who scored for Leicester that day?

Guy Posted 16 December 2011 Posted 16 December 2011 Ooooer, I wouldn't like to say as my attendance has fluctuated so much since my very first trip to Filbert Street in the old first division (now the Premier League....!) back in early 1984 when we beat West Ham 4-1 and finished just below mid table. I hardly went at all thereafter in the 80s for one reason or another and I didn't start to go regularly until 1991 really! Have seen many ups and downs in the 20 years since I became a regular though (inevitable if you're a City fan!) from Tony James's crucial late winner against Oxford in 1991 through the Brian Little, Mark McGhee and majestic Martin O'Neill eras, the dip under Peter Taylor and then the ups and downs for City that followed Taylor under Micky Adams......administration, promotion to the Prem. then immediate relegation. Never a dull moment! I only halted going regularly again due to moving to SW Devon seven years ago when the middling-poor Craig Levein era! So my game attending average has dipped considerably again since 2005 but I still get up about six or so times a season. I'd safely say my seeing City is in the three figures bracket but I haven't been sufficiently bored enough to sit there and work it out as yet via programmes and my memory cells!!
