Bob Weasel Fox Posted 14 September 2011 Posted 14 September 2011 i really hadnt got a clue how many games i had been to so i counted my old programme collection (obviously really bored today), which admitedly is missing around 5 seasons worth of games but i counted 387 programmes so i think it is safe to say i have been to well over 400 Leicester games, anybody else?
The Doctor Posted 14 September 2011 Posted 14 September 2011 unless I've miss counted: 200 competitive games and 3 friendlies
Guest MattP Posted 14 September 2011 Posted 14 September 2011 Worked it out at about 400 home games and about 120 away.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 14 September 2011 Posted 14 September 2011 12 GAMES 2 WINS 4 DRAWS 6 LOSSES. I think the team must realise i'm coming over from Australia and delibratly play crap
OzFox Posted 14 September 2011 Posted 14 September 2011 12 GAMES 2 WINS 4 DRAWS 6 LOSSES. I think the team must realise i'm coming over from Australia and delibratly play crap Funny. Same thing seems to happen to me. Maybe it's us....
Guest Col city fan Posted 14 September 2011 Posted 14 September 2011 During the 1996/1997 season me and mi mate went to every match home and away, including pre season friendlies. Expensive but we managed it Can't think how many games overall cos been a fan since 1975
jonthefox Posted 14 September 2011 Posted 14 September 2011 I wouldnt have a clue. But in 36 years it must be a few.
VinceNoir Posted 14 September 2011 Posted 14 September 2011 Hardly any compared to most of you! When I lived in England in the mid 90s I went to a lot of home games with my Dad and my brother. Southampton, Liverpool and Forest spring to mind, but I think there were more. Since we moved to Denmark I've only seen two. Fulham at home in 2004 and Bristol City at home last season. Coming over for the Watford and Millwall games next month though
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 14 September 2011 Posted 14 September 2011 Must be about 250 for me I think, not easy to work out exactly!
Jimbo Posted 14 September 2011 Posted 14 September 2011 I think I'm on my 17th season ticket now, add to that away games and pre season friendly games, cup matches, Wembley appearances and the odd european adventure and I must be well over 400 by now
thybluefox Posted 14 September 2011 Posted 14 September 2011 Hundreds and hundreds. Not enough though, wish I could make more aways.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 14 September 2011 Posted 14 September 2011 Love to be able to work it out but can't remember exactly. Must be 200 home games and perhaps 40 aways.
AmyLGK Posted 14 September 2011 Posted 14 September 2011 Unfortunately not many (joys of being the only football fan in the family and group of friends when growing up, then moving away at 18!) A quick count up and I think it's only 9
General Smuts Posted 14 September 2011 Posted 14 September 2011 300 + easily. Possibly a lot more had I not gone to Uni so bleeding far away.
ithuriel Posted 14 September 2011 Posted 14 September 2011 On and off since the City vs' Oxford game the season Brian Little got us promoted via the play offs vs' Derby. The Derby game was my first trip to Wembley
Filbert_Ross Posted 14 September 2011 Posted 14 September 2011 4-500 I reckon.... yeah about the same, had a season ticket every year since 1994 and went loads before that missing about 5 per season from late 80's.
stockyfox Posted 14 September 2011 Posted 14 September 2011 Wouldn't have a clue really! Went to my first match in 1949. Had a season ticket in late 50' and early 60.s. Went to a few 'Reserve' games, even went to watch Leicester City 'A' on odd occasions. It was always a good game when they came to play Ibstock Penistone Rovers at the Hastings Arms - now the Co-op! plus houses! Didn't buy a programme every time - couldn't afford it! Went to loads of 'Away' games - couldn't afford that either but did!
Bayfox Posted 14 September 2011 Posted 14 September 2011 Well I'm on my 18th year as a season ticket holder so lets say on average with a few games missed and the seasons in the premier i reckon i would average 20 home league games in that time so thats, 360 home league games, let throw in an average of 2 home cup ties over that period so thats 36 games, on and off I've been going away for about 10 of those season with i would guess an average of 8 away games, last year i did 2 or 3 but in the L1 season I did 18 or so, lets say 80 away games easily over my years. So thats 476 plus 3 Cup Finals , 4 Play-off finals and a cup final replay. So somewhere around the 500 mark i would guess, but i only started going to games in the late 80's so some people on here must have been to thousands.
LcFc_Smiv Posted 14 September 2011 Posted 14 September 2011 I'm 19 been going since I was about 5, go to near enough every other home game, seen us at two Wembley finals, no end of friendlies and about 5 away games. Now I'm at Uni and won't be able to really afford many which is pretty frustrating, but I guess it's what I chose <_<
HEGGSY Posted 14 September 2011 Posted 14 September 2011 About 150, im only 16 though and obviously can't get to every game unfortunately
ScouseFox Posted 14 September 2011 Posted 14 September 2011 4 years of ST, missing a few night games etc, so that's about 75. Few games a season for about 10 years before that, call it 100. Handful of aways, so 100+.
