Stand UP... Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 It`s a good job some of you guys were not going down the city in the 70`s and 80`s. i wish they did, least then they would understand what atmosphere is all about. How can you call our Kop a Kop when 99% of the people sit down moaning and moaning and moaning or sitting on there arse moaning at the one or two people in front of them standing when there supporting there team....oh i forgot they paid the same money as they did to watch the game.
Jace Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 went to see jimmy carr live a few weeks ago, was amazed how many disabled people who were there who loved his humor and stayed behind after the show to meet him. Guess maybe they saw it as better to laugh and see the funny side in things rather than get upset and offended by his jokes shame more people cant live like this
wellyfox Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 So the rent boys come to town abuse the good citizens of Leicester and we should go oh that not right. Oh dear they called our folk Pakkies how bads that. What the fook you on while you had ur pie n pint at H/T they were all fisting in the boggs. God Leicester fans are so and should be so fVcking perfect. :crylaugh: :crylaugh:
maynefox Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 Banter. IMO opinion we get racially abused "town full of paki's" "small town in Baghdad" etc.....but when we do sommit like it half of us are making a big song and dance about it Get over with it.
Narborough_fox Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 "Does your boyfriend know you're here" did make me smirk.
Stand UP... Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 God Leicester fans are so and should be so fVcking perfect. :crylaugh: :crylaugh: i know if we were all like the average leicester fan we would be sitting there with our bovril and ear peice in listening to results of the prem coming in and moaning that they dont sell prawn sandwiches.
paddy Agyemang Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 It's called BANTER !!!!! Most teams that come here in the season slate Lee Jobber for being 'FAT' so lighten up
Dan Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. Football thrives on banter. Anyone who goes to the football and takes offence at this is in the wrong place, simple as that.
dannythefox Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 I don't think people should take it to heart it always happens at football matches. How do you think my Liverpool friends feel when people start chanting about the Hillsborough disaster.... now that's bad!
Petchy Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 When there right back was down injured, Someone behind me shouted "get up you puff" !! That would probably get shouted regardless of the team though!
acooling08 Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 Glad to see some sense on this second page. I bet FuriousFox, that you care more than homosexuals actually do.

Guess maybe they saw it as better to laugh and see the funny side in things rather than get upset and offended by his jokes shame more people cant live like this The fact is - that's the same as football in a way. You go to Jimmy Carr - you expect to be ripped apart no matter what your race, gender or even disability is. The disabled at that went there knowing this, and they could take it - any who didn't stayed at home. It's the same as football, people can't go to football and be offended when there's some banter, it's part of it. Sorry, fvck this thread. I agree about anyone who moaned about town full of Paki's and sung this, but nah in general, give it as good as you get - take it. If you don't like it, don't go.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. Football thrives on banter. bluesbrothers Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 Glad to see some sense on this second page. I bet FuriousFox, that you care more than homosexuals actually do. +1. Like i said, from my experience gay people really don't give a damn.
sdb Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 I found the 'does your boyfriend know you're here?' to be hilarious. And I'm not a hypocrite because I never complained about 'town full of pakis' well then you're a dick 2 times over!
Jace Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 When there right back was down injured, Someone behind me shouted "get up you puff" !! That would probably get shouted regardless of the team though! dont think Ive have ever gone to a football match when I havent heard somebody shout this

Saw lee Evans last Sunday. He ripped women apart. But they loved it. Why? Cos its comedy. Same as chants at a city game. Any game for that matter.
Thracian Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 Why do you think no gay players have come out since the late Justin Fashanu? Why does anyone need to "come out" about anything? What has it got to do with football? I'm sick of football being used, or abused, as a political platform. None of it is new - only people wanting to yap about it all the time.

You go to watch Jimmy Carr knowing that his comedy is based on taboo subjects and deliberately seeking to offend. You go to football to watch football. I've never met anyone who said they were going to the football because of the offensive songs.
@cheyette Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 Wow, some of the things being said here are really offensive. The argument that we put up with racist chants doesn't work if your white, because its not you thats being abused- just as i'm sure straight brighton fans won't mind 'the banter'. To homosexuals- a group of hundreds of football fans chanting faggots is outright intimidating behaviour. I agree with the original post.
Clazie Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 It`s a good job some of you guys were not going down the city in the 70`s and 80`s. And it's that kind of attitude that makes me glad I didn't.
JadeFalcon Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 i'm an english man living in scotland, all i can say i can say is world cup, the amount of anti english jokes i heard after we went out. they were flying at me from all angles. to me a joke is a joke as banter is banter and trust me i've been the target of a few up here.
@cheyette Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 And comparing a group of hundreds of fans shouting faggots is not the same witty satirical border line offensive humour by jimmy carr. Chants like this shouldn't be acceptable in football these days.
Rocket-Ron Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 That would probably get shouted regardless of the team though! Yes
lcfc_sam_p Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 I knew this would come up.. Think too many people are trying to act too politically correct on here. Bet some of you joined in with the chants or laughed at them..deary me.
