Father Ted Posted 27 September 2011 Posted 27 September 2011 Can see us nicking a 1-0 win for two reasons: Middlesborough are unbeaten so far. Marvin Emnes is 'touch and go' for Boro. COME ON CITY!
CupidStunt Posted 27 September 2011 Posted 27 September 2011 Marvin Emnes is 'touch and go' for Boro. Touch and Go ..............that means he's going to play, and is mind games from Mowbray
Tommy G Posted 27 September 2011 Posted 27 September 2011 Bigger game now tommorrow, results have gone well for us tonight. 3 points and we'll be in the top 6 subject to cardiff score. will set up nicely for a game at home to derby which we should win. Will be blowing on the door of top 2 if thats the case just before another break. Come on city don't let us down!!
lcfc_sam_p Posted 27 September 2011 Posted 27 September 2011 A win would be massive, especially after tonights results. Come on city
Corky Posted 27 September 2011 Posted 27 September 2011 We specialise in winning 3-0 or throwing away 3-1 leads at the Riverside. Two apiece.
Joe. Posted 27 September 2011 Posted 27 September 2011 A win tomorrow night really could be what really kick-starts our season. It barely feels like we've moved out of second gear but by Thursday we could be in the play-off places. Schmeichel Peltier --- Mills --- Bamba --- Konchesky Abe (as it's away) Fernandes --- Johnson King Beckford --- Vassell What I'd like to see. Johnson has to start if he's fit, but sadly I think Yuki could make way for Wellens in my team.
Bert Posted 27 September 2011 Posted 27 September 2011 Atleast if we don't win we won't lose too much ground! I think we'll get a result.

Happy Fox Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Lets hope we win this we desperately need to, Come on City
Dr The Singh Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 A draw will be a good result. A win will be a massive boost. A loss will only add pressure against a in form Derby team!!!
Ric Flair Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 We've still NEVER been in the top 6 places under Sven, we've had a few sniffs at it but then ultimately fallen short. These next 2 games could define our season as if we get right in the mixer, it could be hard to budge us. Come on Leicester, keep this unbeaten run going and do it with a win!

Yep, this is crunch time now!! we need 4 points at the very least imo,
Happy Fox Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 It looks like we are going back to 4-3-3 http://www.thisisleicestershire.co.uk/story-13419262-detail/story.html? And after City boss Eriksson reverted to a 4-4-2, Nugent faces a fight to regain his starting berth in the side. The 26-year-old is now back in action and could make his comeback tonight at Middlesbrough (7.45), and Eriksson said he would contemplate accommodating all three of his strikers, Beckford, Vassell and Nugent, as a triple threat. "We will find a place for him in the team if he is what he was before he got injured," said Eriksson. "He scored two goals and had chances to score more. Beckford is a centre-forward and I can't see him playing wide, but Vassell and Nugent can both play wide if necessary, so we can play three up front or two up front and one of them wide. "I look forward to that day because there you have pace and goals. It would be very good."

I wouldn't write 4-3-3 off with them three up top anyway, we ripped some teams to pieces with it last season with Gallagher/Kamara, Yakubu and Vassell so we could do the same with Nugent, Beckford and Vassell. It's just getting the 3 central midfielders right, Johnson, Fernandes and King or Danns for me.

Happy Fox Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Or not. You know for a fact that he will play Vassell as he is an integral part to our team, therefore only way you can have Nugent, Beckford is to play 4-3-3

Oh and I don't know anything for a fact about team selection considering Vassell was a sub for 5 games last season. Oh and I'm not stalking you
blueblood88 Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Schmeichel Peltier Mills © Bamba Konchesky Johnson Fernandes Wellens King Beckford Nugent Subs: Weale, Pantsil, St Ledger, Abe, Vassell. Feeling a 2-1 win here, Beckford has got to score sooner rather later, so I'll go for him to get the first goal, Johnson to grab the second.
Guest Col city fan Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Just enjoying a spot of brekkie in blaby and perusing the league table.. For me the surprise package so far has to be Peterborough... 13 points already.. Very impressive thus far

Fox92 Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 In my opinion, Nugent and Beckford would be excellent up front. Vassell on the left and Dyer on the right. The two central midfielders is a hard decision, but thats what Sven gets paid for.
