It was the rememberance game wasnt it in Nov. I was reading the sheepshaggers forum earlier and they were bitching about the whole helicopter saying they still didnt understand why it was there. They concluded it was because we see the game as massive and our "cup final". Just shows they're thick aswell as shit at football.
Guest Col city fan Posted 29 September 2011 Posted 29 September 2011 He was referee when we played Derby before at home, when Fryatt scored I think around 2006 time, and he was poor. Not really a fan of Premier League referees coming down to ref because some of them seem to want the limelight, but hopefully his performance will be better by some that we have seen this season. If the game wasn't on tv, we would have had a Championship referee. Webb is a card happy, fat arsed prima donna... having him as ref could spoil the game if he don't let it flow

Whats the point in having a friendly rivalry? You either hate a club enough to be a rival or its not rivalry in my eyes.

If the game wasn't on tv, we would have had a Championship referee. That game sticks in the mind for the terrible refereeing performance. I'm now not surprised to learn it was Webb. He's always had a knack of bottling big decisions, see Play-off semi final and World Cup final.

Shame about that incident because the game was actually brilliant, we played really well and it could have been 4 or 5.
