acooling08 Posted 16 October 2011 Posted 16 October 2011 Does he get a 1 or 3 match ban? He was only 1 yellow away from a ban anyway.
Legend_in_blue Posted 16 October 2011 Posted 16 October 2011 We were warned about him being hot headed when he joined us. We were also told his distribution was poor. Why are people surprised/angered by what happened? As for the challenge, back in the 90s, it wouldn't have been a red. In today's non-contact game, unfortunately, it isn't allowed. St Ledger can get off his chair, stop moaning and put some decent performances in now.
cc_star Posted 16 October 2011 Posted 16 October 2011 IMO, the tackle was only deserving of a yellow. He got the ball before the brum player got anywhere near it. Irrelevant! It was a two footed lunge which endangered the other player. Instant red. As mentioned above, he lost his head which could have hindered our chances of getting back into it
accessory Posted 16 October 2011 Posted 16 October 2011 Does he get a 1 or 3 match ban? He was only 1 yellow away from a ban anyway. Straight red, so 3-match ban. No prospect of an appeal either.
MPH Posted 16 October 2011 Posted 16 October 2011 He's a wannabe Rooney, in the tackle department. you been looking at him in the showers then?
LCFC BEAST Posted 16 October 2011 Posted 16 October 2011 It wasn't reckless or stupid and he didn't lose us the game. It was a 50/50 ball and yes it was a deserved red card but players do that. They can't be perfect and go by the rules all the time. The back pass was needless, the kick was poor and as Kasper wasn't in his goal he had to do something to stop the player having a shot in the empty net. We didn't look right at all and to everyone sl*gging of Wellens, we played better once he came on. The only way we would have scored today was if it was on OG or a penalty. Plus it was Mills who was closest to scoring for us today anyway. So stop moaning, complaining and putting the blame on certain individuals. We're in this as unit and we've gotta play better as one to get where we want to be.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 16 October 2011 Posted 16 October 2011 Mills did not lose us the game we could of played for 180 mins and we wouldnt of scored we wasnt up for it. How we can go from playing really well against derby to that shit i watched today is beyond me sven needs to sort it out! So, you reckon our TEN man side was not affected by the loss of Mills! 100% plank

dannythefox Posted 16 October 2011 Posted 16 October 2011 So, you reckon our TEN man side was not affected by the loss of Mills! 100% plank Yes they were affected but just that didnt lose us the game. plank!
gazfox9 Posted 16 October 2011 Posted 16 October 2011 I'm a big fan of Mills and will back him to the hilt, as I have from day one. What he did today was pretty daft and worthy of a red card. Out the side for 3 games now, could cost him his place.
anotherharboroughfox Posted 16 October 2011 Posted 16 October 2011 huge overreaction by some people here.

anotherharboroughfox Posted 16 October 2011 Posted 16 October 2011 How come three? straight red = 3 games
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 16 October 2011 Posted 16 October 2011 We just seem to have a lot of players who are unintelligent and stupid. Vassell is certainly one, whilst Mills has no excuse for what he did, just stupid.
Bugg Posted 16 October 2011 Posted 16 October 2011 straight red = 3 games You are right it's a three game ban, but straight red does not always mean a 3 game ban. If you were to commit a Professional Foul you would only receive a one match ban.
Haydos Posted 16 October 2011 Posted 16 October 2011 So, you reckon our TEN man side was not affected by the loss of Mills! 100% plank Did he say that? The guy's right, we looked completely impotent today and never looked like coming close. Trust me, you're the plank.
leicesterisme Posted 16 October 2011 Posted 16 October 2011 How can people say it was a penalty? King got the ball and that was clear to see. Mills, yes it was a red and it was stupid to go with both feet. Personally I saw it as a great tackle and completely got the ball, however I accept that is no longer allowed in todays modern game which is fair enough.

m00nie Posted 16 October 2011 Posted 16 October 2011 So, you reckon our TEN man side was not affected by the loss of Mills! 100% plank we was already 1 .0 down at didnt look like scoring even with him on the pitch so was hardly him to solely blame for the loss.. Fox1651 Posted 16 October 2011 Posted 16 October 2011 He lost his head after the penalty that wasn't. thought it was a yellow only personally, their chilean player karate chopped Pelts and got away with it, shocking inconsistencies yet again from officials
DB11 Posted 16 October 2011 Posted 16 October 2011 Straight red, so 3-match ban. No prospect of an appeal either. What makes you think that? You can appeal any red card as long as you have video evidence (which I'm pretty sure LCFC will, not that I'm saying they should appeal)

Time for SSL to step up.
