ousefox Posted 16 October 2011 Posted 16 October 2011 Just as he finally gets something going with Bamba he goes and does something stupid like that. Absolutely pathetic behaviour and from out captain. It's not even like he's young and we can excuse him for it.
crisp packet Posted 16 October 2011 Posted 16 October 2011 Another one of our captains never got sent off much did he
Fox92 Posted 16 October 2011 Posted 16 October 2011 Agree. Think he was frustrated with the ball, or something.

It's not even like he's young and we can excuse him for it. It's unfortunate yes. He won't be the first or the last one to do something like this. That said, with a bit more luck he could've gotten away with a yellow, but ah well. St Ledger will get and hopefully take his chance now.

Pointless back pass and shit clearance from schmeichel didn't help him out though did it!?
ousefox Posted 16 October 2011 Author Posted 16 October 2011 Pointless back pass and shit clearance from schmeichel didn't help him out though did it!? yeah, damn right of him to two foot him then. should do it every time a mistake is made by one of our players.
Corky Posted 16 October 2011 Posted 16 October 2011 It wasn't the worst tackle I've seen, but it was a red. Schmeichel's clearance didn't help though, the ball should've been nowhere near Mills anyway.
Lambert09 Posted 16 October 2011 Posted 16 October 2011 Would rather he tries to win that then let them attack from it, it wasn't viscous, just a bit silly. Thank you for the 4 clean sheets, will see you in 3 games
Bugg Posted 16 October 2011 Posted 16 October 2011 Poor tackle, you know you can't go into a challenge like that anymore even if you do win the ball. Just seems completely needless to go in like that when you know the consequences.
Guest Col city fan Posted 16 October 2011 Posted 16 October 2011 He lost his head after the penalty that wasn't. It was a penalty Bert, and you are right he lost his head and probably lost us the match... No excuses for him whatsoever
CupidStunt Posted 16 October 2011 Posted 16 October 2011 It was a penalty Bert, and you are right he lost his head and probably lost us the match... No excuses for him whatsoever What made me laugh was when he was walking off after the red card, he was pointing to his head saying the ref has "lost his head"
sdb Posted 16 October 2011 Posted 16 October 2011 He's a potentially excellent CB with a few very big flaws to his game. He needs to sort them and then he'll be a Prem player, with or without us.
Dobos Posted 16 October 2011 Posted 16 October 2011 We're 1-0 down, away from home, you're the captain. Whether you get the ball of not, a two footer is a RED. I don't care about anyone elses mistakes or whether he cost us the game. IN A GAME WHERE YOU ARE NEEDED AND YOU'RE THE CAPTAIN, A RECKLESS TWO FOOTER IS ****ING STUPID. Give the armband to Bamba and let's hope St Ledger can prove his worth.
Guest nathan. Posted 16 October 2011 Posted 16 October 2011 Disgusting tackle and thats our club captain
Trav Le Bleu Posted 16 October 2011 Posted 16 October 2011 It was a penalty Bert, and you are right he lost his head and probably lost us the match... No excuses for him whatsoever Go back to supporting Colchester City.
m00nie Posted 16 October 2011 Posted 16 October 2011 he made a rash tackle.. he wont be the first and certainly wont be the last player to do it.. there human not robots.. the whole team looked out of ideas today and dont think we would have scored in another 90 minutes so cant seer how can bame it on mills... we have a big squad and injuriies/suspensions was always going to happen.. he was only a card away from a suspension anyway suppose positive note is at least it wasnt a "sven out" over reaction again...
Amin Posted 16 October 2011 Posted 16 October 2011 IMO, the tackle was only deserving of a yellow. He got the ball before the brum player got anywhere near it.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 16 October 2011 Posted 16 October 2011 He's a wannabe Rooney, in the tackle department.
Adster Posted 16 October 2011 Posted 16 October 2011 Me and my brother were thinking that the only reason he went in like that was to stop their playing having a chance of scoring into an open goal, as Kasper was no where near it.
dannythefox Posted 16 October 2011 Posted 16 October 2011 Mills did not lose us the game we could of played for 180 mins and we wouldnt of scored we wasnt up for it. How we can go from playing really well against derby to that shit i watched today is beyond me sven needs to sort it out!
