terry2simmo Posted 4 November 2011 Posted 4 November 2011 Not correct. Martin told me that he resigned several weeks after a fallout at Brackley Town. Well do you think if you asked him no begged if he is interested in becoming our manager he might enlighten you and save all this conjecture we have been enduring for so long? Please. Pretty Pretty, Please.

Salieri Posted 4 November 2011 Posted 4 November 2011 If that were true and it's a big if, my happiness at MON's return would be tempered somewhat with demands such as that, demonstrating a clear lack of any sort of commitment.
Kitchandro Posted 4 November 2011 Posted 4 November 2011 Where have you got this from? His anus I should think

Possibly the greatest ever first post.... If true....
Libertine Posted 4 November 2011 Posted 4 November 2011 Without compensation? Surely a manager can resign any time he wants. Sounds like nonsense.

terry2simmo Posted 4 November 2011 Posted 4 November 2011 He told me at a fans do mate after I brought the subject up years after it happened. If people spoke in facts instead of constant bullshit we'd all be better for it. I have the utmost respect for MR O'Neil I would be over the moon if he was our next manager. I met him on several occasions and always found him to be courteous. But that was then and this is now, Who knows?
Salieri Posted 4 November 2011 Posted 4 November 2011 Without compensation? Surely a manager can resign any time he wants. Sounds like nonsense. That's what I thought, and if it was an approach from another club then they would have to pay compensation to the tune of whatever time he had left on his deal. (unless he forfeited the rest himself).

BNET Posted 4 November 2011 Posted 4 November 2011 What are you hearing then Bnet? Been told Pearson agreed terms yesterday and to be announced Monday, from a decent source but I'm not convinced though.
Mooseboy Posted 4 November 2011 Posted 4 November 2011 Been told Pearson agreed terms yesterday and to be announced Monday, from a decent source but I'm not convinced though. If that's true, I wouldn't expect him to be in the dugout on Saturday vs West Ham - so I guess we'll see....
stripeyfox Posted 4 November 2011 Posted 4 November 2011 Could it be that not having a manager and speculating on who the new manager will be is infinitely more entertaining than having a manager?
m00nie Posted 4 November 2011 Posted 4 November 2011 Brace yourselves! The owners and MON have been in serious talks yesterday and today. There is a realistic chance this will be wrapped up tomorrow! Been told in good faith from a quality source who has been right before. For those that don't believe me , time will tell. I am not a wum and neither am I here to waste anybodys time one and only MON offered and accepted the position yesterday evening season long / 1 year roll on contract BUT led to believe the contract involves clauses the main one being he can walk whenever he wishes without compensation the others including changes to certain personel ät the club It will be annouced before sunday's game maybe tomorrow no more so he accepted last night but was back in talks today...
