if i remember rightly it was birchy who leaked about sven coming in a pub to some one way before it came out so imagine he would know whats happening

Different owners now ho do things in a totally different manner.

If that's true, I wouldn't expect him to be in the dugout on Saturday vs West Ham - so I guess we'll see....

He wouldn't be the first or last manager to be in the dug out on a Saturday despite lining up a new club and knowing he will have new employers on Monday morning and it wouldn't surprise me. WHat gies it away is what happens at the end of the match and he waves goodbye to the fans............

Started by maddog, when told who the new manager he said 'Nigel ****ing Pearson?', as in who the **** ...

Not the maddog who used to post on here??

Would like MON back for old times sake because we all look back to the past and compare EVERYTHING to what MON did for us, however kind of do prefer Pearson coming back who is arguably 2nd best after MON, he is younger, still in the game, has good contacts still, and has unfinished business, I don't mind either but think Pearson is a 'safer' bet.

I'm getting so addicted to checking this thread that it having a serious impact on my life lol. The other night I had been on so much during the day, when I broke down on the way home I mhad no battery to ring the AA. I had to walk home in the pitch black to ring them.

Please just appoint someone so I can be free of the torment lol...

Understand what you are saying although you could argue that (looking at their respective records in management) then MON would be the 'safer' bet. NP is promising whereas MON has proved himself at a higher level.

one and only

MON offered and accepted the position yesterday evening

season long / 1 year roll on contract

BUT

led to believe the contract involves clauses the main one being he can walk whenever he wishes without compensation the others including changes to certain personel ät the club

It will be annouced before sunday's game maybe tomorrow

no more

i wish with all my heart this is true

I don't but as MOF leaked all of his dealings to the press and none of us have a scooby on this then I'm inclined to think that Mr Leicester City won't be itk this time around.

Yeah, like I said, either, i'm not sure, aslong as it's one of these two.

This is all utter bollox and still pure speculation, nobody from the club has confirmed or denied anything and until they do we won't know.

Furthermore I'm willing to bet that there was a lot of meetings/calls/discussions between certain parties that will never ever be disclosed and that's what has taken the time.

The owners have the right to decide who the new manager will be and can take as long as they wish, they have no obligation to talk to us or the press until that process is complete.

I am sure that their prime objective is still to get us promoted to the prem this season and so will have carefully considered their options.

Until those options are made public we all need to chill, after all there are now only 3 points at stake (and any new appointment at this stage will have much influence on where they go really) between today and the 19th November so although sooner is better it's not exactly life or death

Chill out we will find out eventually, it's like Christmas, all the waiting and excitement is the best bit but then when you get to unwrap your present it's not always what you asked for or wanted even if it does eventually become useful!

Thanks, wondered what it meant when I was lurking on Bentley's.

Kind of obvious when you think about it. lol

Please be Pearson!! :fc: regret not lumping a tenner on him when id first heard that he had applied for the job when he was at ridiculous odds...

In fairness, it's a ridiculous story, I would have laughed at anyone putting money on him a week ago.

Still struggling to see why he'd want to come.
