acooling08 Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 hahaha, i suggest you look in the mirror ( if you dare ) You missed the most blatant tongue-in-cheek message in history, you tit.
liamsm Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 Let's not go on about Sven. He tried his best, it didn't work, he's gone. We've had a good win tonight, let's enjoy that rather than dig at Sven. Agree 100%
Tielemans63 Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 Just seen the highlights. Absolute stonewall penalty........
acooling08 Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 It's not about having a dig at Sven. He is a great man. It's about showing the Sven-shaggers that we weren't playing good enough under him so he HAD to go. In 2 games away without Sven, we've scored more goals than we did in every away game under him.
Tielemans63 Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 anyone have the goals On SSN although you'll have to wait for the loop.
Corky Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 Konchesky's was a good hit, lovely cross by Gallagher for Nugent and definite penalty.

One Arm Babba Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 The people that phone in after matches tend to be complete mentalists. That guy on about Lee Clark was a nut
One Arm Babba Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 Although... This guy talks sense about Keane.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 See we had no keeper on the bench tongiht, I've wanted that for a while. So pleased Howard started he deserved to after Saturday. Knew we would do well tonight, juts knew it after Saturdays display, great win. Well done Stowell etc, a win against Leeds and things are looking up.

Need to have 5 outfield options after this restricting subs rule stopped a full 7.
marbelladave Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 Much better result than I was expecting....... Listening to Stringer and Young is a joke, heard the whole 90 minutes and have not the faintest idea of how we played...... Match report anyone?
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 Shit me, we won AT Burnley, during the week! We NEVER win at Burnley during the week!

Guest parky0607 Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 Was at the game. we started the game really well but as the half went on we seemed to lose it. Second half was a much better performance than the first and we were consistently good throughout. Nugent was an absolute workhorse for us and howard won pretty much everything and distributed the ball well. Gallagher proved he deserved his starting place, tackled harder than usual and didnt make many mistakes, other than overhitting the ball a few times. The only negative was that danns was below standard and for someone who I expect would be questionning why he isnt in the team, he didnt get into the game at all and lost the ball a good few times. Bamba was also a rock at the back as usual. He deflected a goalbound shot so that it hit the post instead.

Well done,we'veh also let in more thanmost of our away games this season so that means you are right. Sven haters, a sad and deluded breed. We couldn't possibly have won this if he'd been manager still so Top made the right decision. Hurrah, and sleep tight knowing thst a new manager, who incidentally we haven't got 8 daya after the sacking, will takw us up to the promised land, unless its keane, or Clark, or Pearson, or lennon, or any of the other no names coming to save us.

Even the Derby home game where some were championing him, I felt he looked off the pace. Still, we know he has it in his locker, hopefully he'll improve.
