Matt Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 Sounded like big impovement, like the 2nd half at West Ham. Whether Sven should or shouldn't have gone I struggle to believe he'd get the motivation and reaction under him that the team has shown in the last game and a half. Howard sound like a the menace he is despite what certain people say about him and shown Beckford needs to pull his finger out and actually fight for his place in the squad. Happy with the last game (From how it sounded anyway) and a half (That I seen) lets just hope we can keep it up!
Kitchandro Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 The relief and joy of this result has been tempered by the thought of Roy Keane being our manager. We really needed the 3 points tonight. Sounded good.
Ashley Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 Fao Burnley fans. We took 500 fans which you were laughing about they made more noise than your 'fans' and we got all 3 points. Cheers
Ilkeston_Fox Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 Great win! Well done lads, and a massive well done to the 744 travelling Foxes. Top effort, and sounded in great voice too.
FoxyPV Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 Onwards and upwards. A well deserved win and it'll be nice to go into work tomorrow on the back of a victory.
somebum Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 Shows what can be done when the players play within a system they understand and have a solid targetman in Howard up front. Excellent win, is Stowelly in with a shout? I liked his interview after the WH game he sounds like a motivator it's who we need. Brilliant
Trav Le Bleu Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 Corner turned or false dawn? And please not Keane.
Webbo Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 First time they've lost at home midweek for about 4 years as well isn't it?
Corky Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 Much needed win, we're up six places. It's nice to win football matches.
nuttytimmy Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 Great result and 8th, 2 points off 6th and, crucially, level with Leeds, is not to be sniffed at. Conclusions in the usual place! Stowell for manager
Libertine Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 Fantastic. Have to admit we'd never have won that under Sven. Would've been another Cardiff/Boro at best. Love me some NUGE.
Chairman of the Bored Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 Great result. I feared the worst after the way they beat Blackpool on Saturday. Made up for a shite day at work. I hope Super Stevie starts on Sunday, a repeat of the League One header would do nicely. Up the City!
Father Ted Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 **** Roy keane weve got mike stowell, **** Roy keane weve got mike stowell!
liamsm Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 Fao Burnley fans. We took 500 fans which you were laughing about they made more noise than your 'fans' and we got all 3 points. Cheers Stringer said we took 700 plus fans
acooling08 Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 WHO THE FUCK?, WHO THE FUCK? WHO THE FUCKING HELL IS SVEN?
NewburyFox Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 Absolutely delighted, don't think we'll get Roy Keane so it's not really depressed me. UTB! Howard managed 90 minutes too, that's very nice. Similar team for Sunday?
Kitchandro Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 Nugent looking the leading contender for player of the season already, he just keeps coming up with the goods.
Guest MattP Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 Look what happens when you give your players the confidence to attack away from home. Like Kit says, only dampener on tonight is Keanes name being banded about.
Ron Combo Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 Please dear Lord. Make nasty Mr Keane go away.
davieG Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 Much needed win otherwise we'd have been just 3 points above Watford 4th bottom
