Yet again proving why ITV shouldn't televise live sport.

...And as soon as I hear Peter Drurie's voice, I again think "ITV shouldn't televise live sport"

Chris O'Grady (remember him?) has just put Wednesday 1-0 up against West Ham with 2 minutes to go.

I still remember him scoring away at Luton in the last minute a few years back to give us a 2-1 win.

It was off the ground. Even Townsend realised that.

No different to the Mills one at Birmingham for me. I said that was a red card, and this one definitely is too, assuming that the laws of the game are being applied.

Kompany wanted to let Nani know he was there early on. It backfired. Any challenge where you feel the need to jump into a tackle guarantees "excessive force".

It's a shame because I can see United coasting now, and I was looking forward to a good game.

I disagree. His left foot wasn't a part of the challenge. What you're saying is true if both feet play a part in the tackle but Kompany's left foot was nowhere near ball or player, the tackle was made exclusively with the right foot and was not dangerous.

Sunderland just got paired with Newcastle in the rehearsal.

Birmingham/Wolves just got Man Utd.

Any idea who we/Forest got? And where do you find out the result of the rehearsal?

No idea.

The commentators on the Peterborough/Sunderland match said about Sunderland drawing Newcastle; and a journo who supports Wolves who I follow on Twitter mentioned that they (or Brum) got Man Utd.

Pretty poor first half, hopefully Thierry will come on later although he didn't warm up at all in the first half so im wondering whether he is just making up the numbers?

I just keep having flashbacks of him at Arsenal last time and how it was an absolute pleasure to watch every Arsenal game. Its the same buzz I get from watching Barca now.
