Weird Conicidences?

Strange coincidences seem to happen to me a lot. For instance, I am presently reading George Orwell's "The Road To Wigan Pier", and when I was in Leicester City centre the other day I saw another book that looked interesting called "Chavs - The Demonization Of The Working Class" by Joel Owen. So I bought it and started reading that in tandem with the other one. Bizarrely, the first chapter I read from THAT book started with a quote from the Orwell book, which I had only just read moments before! Then I was trying to decide what to play in my car on the way to work, and decided that I hadn't heard Television's "Marquee Moon" album for about five years. So I drive to work listening to it, then when I GET to work, have a guess what's playing on the radio? And it's not even just the title track - they are playing the entire album! That was somewhat surreal.

By the way, is there a way to edit the topic header on here? I seem to have mistyped the word coincidences, which is annoying...

Kowinkydink.

For some reason several people on Twitter today seem to be randomly saying the word Cannonball - I could just be missing a trick on that one though.

Got in the car singing a song once, turned the radio on and it was the same song playing the same line i was singing. Felt like such a boss.

Whenever I think about a funny moment from a show, Friends/Family Guy/Simpsons, the exact episode is on the next day.

I think I can actually see the future.

If I ever start having a Deja Vu moment I immediately do something ridiculous that I know I've never done before to stop it.

If i ever think to myself "I've not seen so and so for a while" I'll always see them within the next 48 hours.

I had a dream a few months back where i was walking to work and some slate fell off a roof and knocked me out cold.

The morning after i was walking to work and i was just outside the house and i was trying to put my keys in my pocket and dropped them on the floor as i was picking them up 5 yards away some slate fell off next doors roof and onto the pavement.

If i hadnt dropped my keys i would have been in the same place the slate fell.

A little while back when me and the family were pulling into our drive I suddenly thought about my uncle that lives in America. Asked my mum if she'd heard from him in a while. As we walked into the house the phone was ringing and it was my uncle. Pretty funny

Me and the family were in Bangkok earlier in the year and whilst at a skytrain station a family asked us how to use the ticket system. We were going to the same part of town so got chatting on the train ,i asked them where in the uk they were from and they said Cambridge they then asked us if we were going on anywhere after Bangkok and i said Koh Samui, 90 min flight away(Tongsai Bay check it out.)now this complex only had 70 odd cottages on the hillside and they were in the same resort a few cottages away.Just weird, still keep in touch and visit each other, the only time i have ever done that after a holiday think it was just all these coincidences, the bloke was a Charlton supporter so we spent our days paying homage to Chris Powell!

That is a weird coincidence as I was saying to my mrs yesterday that I hadn't had déjà vu for ages as, weirdly, I quite like it.

Genuinely had a weird premonition a few months ago.

Was driving home and had a horrible feeling that I was going to run over a cat - which would be a ruddy nightmare.

Lo and behold, at the exact place where I pictured it happening, a little cat ran out in front of me and I had to hammer on my brakes to avoid hitting it.

I don't believe in any spiritual crap but this was ruddy weird.

Talking of cats....

Driving on the motorway towards Leeds for a family get together, and we are nearing the city (about 20 minutes away on the M1), and in the car I'm in, we all see a dead black cat on the side of the road. In our car is myself, my brother, and parents.

We get to our destination, only to find out when my cousins walk in and said they were the ones who hit the black cat and damaged their car as a result!

What are the chances of that - out of the thousands, millions of drivers that go through the M1, it was relatives of ours who end up hitting it shortly before we end up seeing them.
