Liamlcfc1 Posted 23 December 2011 Posted 23 December 2011 http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/transfer-news/Nigel-Pearson-targets-former-charge-Cameron-Stewart-article845881.html Leicester boss Nigel Pearson is planning a January reunion with Cameron Stewart.Pearson bought Stewart, 20, for Hull a year ago from Manchester United after a successful loan. And Pearson wants midfielder Stewart to follow him to Championship rivals City, where he has replaced Sven Goran Eriksson. Pearson is also keen on Derby's 25-year-old midfielder Jamie Ward.
bluearmyfox23 Posted 23 December 2011 Posted 23 December 2011 This kid is my No.1 target in January, he is the player we lack someone who scares the sh*t out of defenders but who also has a good end product!! Would pay anything up to 3.5m for this lad.

MikeyT Posted 24 December 2011 Posted 24 December 2011 I don't really know anything about him, but by the accounts of people on here and the fact that big Nige rates him highly is enough for me to want him too. Plus he's a winger!!!!!!!!!!! :w00t:
Jimmy Posted 24 December 2011 Posted 24 December 2011 Robbie Brady is only on loan at Hull until next week is he not? would be worth a loan or cheeky transfer bid
Adster Posted 24 December 2011 Posted 24 December 2011 I don't really know anything about him, but by the accounts of people on here and the fact that big Nige rates him highly is enough for me to want him too. Plus he's a winger!!!!!!!!!!! :w00t: A winger?!?!?!!?! :w00t:
Kitchandro Posted 24 December 2011 Posted 24 December 2011 Other than what I saw from him against us I don't know much about him. But Hull fans really rate him.
AjcW Posted 24 December 2011 Posted 24 December 2011 I've heads he has decided to convert himself into a central midfielder #justsayin
Danny the Fox 95 Posted 24 December 2011 Posted 24 December 2011 Robbie Brady is only on loan at Hull until next week is he not? would be worth a loan or cheeky transfer bid Why don't we just get both?
Jimmy Posted 24 December 2011 Posted 24 December 2011 Why don't we just get both? I wasn't suggesting it was an either or I'd get Jamie Ward as well, 4 proper wingers at the club
bluearmyfox23 Posted 24 December 2011 Posted 24 December 2011 I would love 4 wingers at this club, Also if we where to get Ward,Stewart and brady. that would leave us with dyer, stewart, brady and ward. Which means 2 right mids and 2 left mids with plenty of rotation
Dan Posted 24 December 2011 Posted 24 December 2011 Do we really need FOUR? Three's enough with 5 subs, easily.
tylesta Posted 24 December 2011 Posted 24 December 2011 Do we really need FOUR? Three's enough with 5 subs, easily. 2 players for each postion
bluearmyfox23 Posted 24 December 2011 Posted 24 December 2011 Suppose sell dyer and gally and bring in stewart,Brady and ward
Jimmy Posted 24 December 2011 Posted 24 December 2011 Do we really need FOUR? Three's enough with 5 subs, easily. and if 1 gets injured and another banned we're back to square 1, sell some CM's we have about 8
Libertine Posted 24 December 2011 Posted 24 December 2011 Lloyd and Gally are good enough for back up. No point bringing even more players in not to play.
Jimmy Posted 24 December 2011 Posted 24 December 2011 Lloyd and Gally are good enough for back up. No point bringing even more players in not to play. I wouldn't use Gally on the wing full stop, mix him in with the strikers playing just off them (either 1 up or 2) dedpending on who we're playing, away from home having Gally just behind a striker could be very usefull
Legend_in_blue Posted 24 December 2011 Posted 24 December 2011 Do we honestly believe that Hull are going to let him go easily? If we pull this off, we'll end up paying way over the odds for him like we did with Mills.
bluearmyfox23 Posted 24 December 2011 Posted 24 December 2011 No but I think Stewart would only cost 2m-2.5m, but because of NP and hull I reckon he would cost us 3.5m ?
Lambert09 Posted 29 December 2011 Posted 29 December 2011 No but I think Stewart would only cost 2m-2.5m, but because of NP and hull I reckon he would cost us 3.5m ? Id be happy with that
accessory Posted 29 December 2011 Posted 29 December 2011 I wouldn't use Gally on the wing full stop, mix him in with the strikers playing just off them (either 1 up or 2) dedpending on who we're playing, away from home having Gally just behind a striker could be very usefull I'd rather see us play with two out-and-out strikers (Nugent and Sharp?) home and away. Gallagher has constantly proved to be a real liability in away games, whichever position he plays in.
Happy Fox Posted 1 January 2012 Posted 1 January 2012 http://www1.skysport..._medium=twitter skysports.com understands Hull City have rejected a bid from Championship rivals Leicester for Cameron Stewart. Foxes boss Nigel Pearson is keen to raid his old club for Stewart having signed the former Manchester United youngster during his time in charge at the KC Stadium. The 20-year-old winger is back to full fitness after a long-term knee injury and has impressed upon his return to the Hull side. Pearson has made a new winger one of his priorities during this month's transfer window and Stewart is thought to be his top target. Leicester are believed to have tabled an offer for Stewart which was immediately rebuffed by Hull. Hull are keen to keep hold of Stewart as they look to mount a bid for promotion in the second half of the season.
