Guest MattP Posted 18 September 2012 Posted 18 September 2012 Brian Woolnough, chief football writer at the Star and presenter of Sky's Sunday Supplement, has died aged 63. Great shame, he was a decent journo tbh, always thought he was above the papers he worked for. Always enjoyed Sunday Supplement.
purpleronnie Posted 18 September 2012 Posted 18 September 2012 Great shame, he was a decent journo tbh, always thought he was above the papers he worked for. Always enjoyed Sunday Supplement. he was brilliant, one of the few journo's who I constantly agreed with....so sad...I was also sad to hear another guest on the sunday supplement Danny Fullbrook died a few months ago...I wasnt aware of that...just 40 years old too.

I'm sure I heard them say they've renamed the media suite at Wembley after Fullbrook just before the Ukraine match. I remember them both from Sunday Supplement and always thought they were both better than the Star. Shit, can't believe that. What of? Bowel cancer.
