paddy Agyemang Posted 1 January 2012 Posted 1 January 2012 Does anyone know how long it is until he is Fit again because I'd like to get him playing out wide for us?
leicesterisme Posted 1 January 2012 Posted 1 January 2012 I'm sure I saw a picture of him training with the squad the other day. God knows where I saw it but I'm certain I did!
Callabinho Posted 1 January 2012 Posted 1 January 2012 Can't wait until the Kid's back, we need a set of shoulders back upfront, a set of lungs, some enthusiasm and some PASHUUUUUUUUUN. Under Pearson Waggy will fight for every ball, make those runs and hustle defenders.
ithuriel Posted 1 January 2012 Posted 1 January 2012 Obviously not fit enough yet after his injury because he can't make the bench.
Happy Fox Posted 1 January 2012 Posted 1 January 2012 Waghorn is not the answer for us, only as bench option.
seenitall Posted 1 January 2012 Posted 1 January 2012 I've just woken up and its 2009 - Waghorn, Fryatt, Hobbs - all massive successes for their current clubs so makes sense
paddy Agyemang Posted 1 January 2012 Author Posted 1 January 2012 Obviously not fit enough yet after his injury because he can't make the bench. I asked if anyone knows when he will back not a commented on what everybody already knows
ithuriel Posted 1 January 2012 Posted 1 January 2012 I asked if anyone knows when he will back not a commented on what everybody already knows Alright, keep your hair on
mrsizzett Posted 1 January 2012 Posted 1 January 2012 Obviously not fit enough yet after his injury because he can't make the bench. he cant make the bench as he was still on loan contract to Hull !!! they sent him back injured. Loan deal finished today so he is all ours again.
fleckneymike Posted 1 January 2012 Posted 1 January 2012 5 goals in 39 appearances since the play offs.
cc_star Posted 1 January 2012 Posted 1 January 2012 5 goals in 39 appearances since the play offs. That's approx Beckfords run rate too, & better than Vassell's I think If we get some quality players in Jan, Beckford, I'm sure will shine... If not, we're better off with the hustle & bustle and harassing defenders that Waggy may offer Although Waggy was severely hampered by only being on the bench for the majority of time under Sven, limited to 5min appearances when game's were already decided & when he did play he was pushed out to a flank
maccfox Posted 1 January 2012 Posted 1 January 2012 Obviously not fit enough yet after his injury because he can't make the bench. Was officially on loan to Hull untill 1st jan so couldnt have been on our bench until now anyway
fleckneymike Posted 1 January 2012 Posted 1 January 2012 Beckford 13 starts - substituted 13 times. if you're part of a front 3 designed to create width, 'hustle and bustle' is no use.

Yep, sadly he's been that ineffective for us Aside from the goal shortage, he's been an ineffective team player too, so when he's not scoring he's not really been helping. Front 3 possibly isn't our preferred method, it's just that we've not got the personnel in the middle to play anything else.
fleckneymike Posted 1 January 2012 Posted 1 January 2012 Well why has Pearson tried to play something else for 7 or the 8 games? We have one less 'winger' now than we did last time Pearson was here.
Cruss5 Posted 1 January 2012 Posted 1 January 2012 Waghorn isn't the answer. Don't rate him as he is head down and runs but doesn't spot any other players. Just runs into trouble. But saying that it might help when Mills hits the ball the full length of the pitch!!!!! Gally annoyed me on Saturday as one play nugent made a great run down the middle and gally thought he would smash the ball to nobody. He changes the way he plays when the cameras are on, can't stand the player.... Unless we can sub him on for free kicks
dannythefox Posted 1 January 2012 Posted 1 January 2012 Obviously not fit enough yet after his injury because he can't make the bench. He can play for us from tomorrow his loan deal has now finished! Not sure if he's totally recovered from his injury though.

acooling08 Posted 1 January 2012 Posted 1 January 2012 I want Waggy back but not on the wing. I hate it when players are played out of position, just like the Bamba in midfield suggestion, WTF really?
FantasticMrFuchs Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 La Bump......Where IS Waggy?? Any update?? Obviously still not fit but seems like he's been out with this injury for a lot longer than expected.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 Hope Waggy is nearing fitness. Really would be like having a new player or signing. Still think he could do more than a job for us.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 Ankle? What's Elvis Hammand got to do with it?
cc_star Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 He bum loves Hull on twitter. #dick Waghorn isn't on Twitter, there's a fake... Have you been duped by that?
