An enthusiastic rep point for Eurythmics (great pop song), a mixture of rep point and laughter for Midge Ure & his dancing (half-decent song, amusing dancing - "If I was a dancer", eh, Midge?!) & a raspberry for Fiction Factory, I'm afraid.

 

Midge's dancing is probably like mine used to be when I'd just arrived, hadn't had a drink yet and was feeling self-conscious.....got a bit more lively and exotic after a few drinks (not better, necessarily).

Probably nearly 20 years since I danced in public.... The world is missing out. I must hit the clubs soon!

Well before the Morrissey gig they projected a load of various groups (handpicked by mozza no doubt) and this was one of them.

 

It was blasted out of the speakers and sounded quite sublime, unfortunately youtube videos and PC speakers don't do it justice so I'll be sourcing the vinyl out.

 

 

I think Phil and girls look fab.

Never much cared for the poppy electo new wave of the Cars, but they were ludicrously tight live - particularly during the shambles of Live Aid Phily with shite foldback/onstage mix and an appaling out front sound. Respect.
