Happy Fox Posted 13 January 2012 Author Posted 13 January 2012 He means he's hardly going to come to sit on the bench. Could play 4-3-3 I guess with Heskey the central figure with Sharp and Nugent either side?
bluearmyfox23 Posted 13 January 2012 Posted 13 January 2012 We need are in need of a target man, Howard struggles to run 15 mins let alone 90mins, would love to have SHarp,Nugent,Beckford and a new target man!! Tht would also let us send Schlupp on loan where he can get valuable first team minutes under his belt!!

bluearmyfox23 Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Only because we had no one else that could play instead of beckfOrd, I mean I really rate this kid but i think if he where to go on loan to somewhere where he is guranteed to play week in week out that he would come back much a better player!!

Or he could learn from the people at the club. I.e Beckford and Sharp. Yes he may not get full games but not all players have to be sent out on loan, Heskey wasn't and he's done alright for himself.
bluearmyfox23 Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Yeah true but I don't want beckford going anywhere near him at this moment time !!
Burmesefox Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Yeah true but I don't want beckford going anywhere near him at this moment time !! If Beckford were to try to get near him he'd miss.
rico Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Shock ! Horror ! Leicester born footballer seen in Leicester !
Happy Fox Posted 15 January 2012 Author Posted 15 January 2012 FootballAgent12 Bill Schweinder Saints are going to bid for Leicester keeper Kasper Schmeichel #lcfc #saintsfc Great facking news, might as well being condemning ourselves to relegation if this happens hopefully he will stay but who knows.

Libertine Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 He'll have offers from bigger Prem clubs in the summer no doubt. Might as well wait.
Happy Fox Posted 15 January 2012 Author Posted 15 January 2012 He'll have offers from bigger Prem clubs in the summer no doubt. Might as well wait. Depends what they bid only a bid in the region of £5-6m would be acceptable
Libertine Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 Depends what they bid only a bid in the region of £5-6m would be acceptable I don't mean for us, hope he doesn't leave then either. Just meant in terms of from his point of view. Thought to be fair, if a biggish club comes in he might not be first choice as he probably would at Soton.
MPH Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 Depends what they bid only a bid in the region of £5-6m would be acceptable As far as i am concerned there is no price right now that would be acceptable for Kasper simply because he would be irreplaceable- we have no chance or getting a keeper as good as him to come to us.
Callabinho Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 I think Kasper will leave, and maybe one other regular like Danns, I can't help but feel doom and gloom, after such a promising summer, I don't know what to think
Dan Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 It really, really depresses me that that particular move isn't actually as stupid as it should be. I think he'd take it personally. But I can't see us accepting anything under £5mil.
Brainy Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 You'd think he'd like to finally settle down at a club for the first time in his career. NP's recently said that he's our best player and are still an attractive proposition, more so in the summer than now. Don't see why he'll want to leave.
teblin Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 I don't want to see kasper leave. Best keeper we've had since walker. Read a few comments that we may need to sell To buy. Hopefully it will be dead wood that goes. Not our best player.
crafty fox Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 FootballAgent12 Bill Schweinder ohh and Billy Sharp deal is NOT dead. #lcfc board are not currently willing to match his demands. #drfc from the same guy that links kasper to saints!

How the hell would anyone know this, especially at this time of day!!
artursteppe Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 How the hell would anyone know this, especially at this time of day!! I'm not saying I believe the information, but the time it was tweeted may have nothing to do with the time the information was received by the tweeter.
harpendenfox Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 I think if Sharp feels we haven't offered him enough money, if indeed that is the case, we should move on. It's blindingly obvious we don't want people to come here simply for the money. Once again I say let's look at the lower leagues for people who would be excited about coming to Leicester rather than just seeing us as a monster payday

Once again I say let's look at the lower leagues for people who would be excited about coming to Leicester rather than just seeing us as a monster payday Lets not do a Derby and try to buy every lower league star and then wonder why we are still doing shit. Most footballers are the same from the premier league down to the conference if someone from Burton Albion was linked with us im pretty sure he wouldnt want the same wages he was on there. Money talks thats the way football is nowadays.
