I'm not complaining. The proudest i've been of this team in a long time was when it was made up of free transfers from Oxford and MK Dons, and Unknown loans from here there and everywhere.

He was rubbish during a run of games under Sven, he was rubbish under Pearson and he has been rubbish coming off the bench. You can't blame anyone but him for his failings. I'm not writing the lad off, in the right team, playing the right way he might turn into an assett. But we aren't that team, and we are a million miles away from being it. So, as it stands we can't afford to carry a passenger. Just saying he's in one game out the next he has no confidence and booing him is only making matters worse. Your summing up of JB could be used for another 4 or 5 players king , wellens , Gallagher , mills etc what's your solution don't play any of them. He's scored goals everywhere he's been ! You don't become a bad player overnight we have a good striker in beckford if given time. The fans will end up driving him away and then hell go somewhere else and start scoring for fun. FFS support him he's an lcfc player.

Delusions of Grandeur anyone? He's been baning them in. Quorn 27 (19) Alfreton Town 76 (45) Grimsby Town 27 (19) Quorn was his first team? Is he a local lad too then and possibly a City fan?! That would be a deal sweetener for those fans with delusions of grandeur.

Bettsy82 Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 Whatever the details it is a certain that Beckford is on thousands of pounds more per week than he's shown he deserves and if others are getting less or even significantly less, no-one should be surprised if people are upset. I can't work out if it was Beckford's arrival that has prompted our downward spiral or the knowledge among various players that they were no longer wanted and would likely be on their way before the end of January. Perhaps neither factor has helped. Whatever, we've won one game in the eight since December 3 (or about the time when that FT poster said we could finish December without dropping a point!). Which makes me wonder what the manager's been paid and whether he perhaps doesn't think some of it should go to charity given what he's achieved. Ha ha ha ha what a fool you look !!!!!!!!!

Err... All three of the players you mentioned came STRAIGHT out of the reserves side of some top prem teams...
