Just hope that he's allowed to get on with his football without too much pressure and hype.

Spot on

Same for Schlupp...

Fantastic. I'll bet he is made up with that. Didn't go or listen. How did he look when he came on?

It was meant to be sarcastic.

Pearson has a reputation of ignoring the academy completely, yet he's played several players from it (King, Hopper, O'Neill, Schlupp, Moore and possibly Panayiotou).

King's the only ex-Academy player he's used regularly and the bloke is beyond recognition these days he's gone so far backwards.

Otherwise it's been emergencies or meaningless matches like yesterday's.

Pearson's been quoted as wanting eight new players next season. And with so many others on expensive contracts I don't see any Academy players coming through in any meaningful way...and I doubt Gradel would disagree.

The problem for Leicester is that these youngsters aren't the finished article when they leave under 18 level and I've seen no evidence to convince me we have the faintest idea how to add the final polish.

People will moan at my frankness and I'll see it happen before I change my mind.

Will do his confidence a world of good and nice to see a 17 year old getting a chance BUT some of you are getting a bit carried away, have you seen the goal, it basically hit him and went it, looked like he was trying to get out of the way lol

Think he is a Wigston lad.

My son played with him at Oadby Town back at 7-a-side junior football days. Nice lad, very sporty family, he was playing up an age group back in those mini soccer days, so he was always ahead of the game.

Good luck for the future Harry

Oh look, another Thracian post where he feels the need to mention Gradel again.

Let it go for crying out loud.
