Libertine Dream Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 Saw that accounts have been frozen now, really does look bleak and probably it would be best for them to start again, build themselves back up without the ghosts from the past. I think the fans are starting to see that may be the only way. As for players, I'd take Henderson for back up to Kasper, maybe Fuctacs and maybe Lawrence for a year.
Jordan Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 What worries me most about the Pompey situation isn't the amount of debt owed--City were in massive debt when they went into administration but were bought. Rather, it's who the debt is owed to that is more worrying. Their new owner is going to have to put a lot of money down, then pay a big tax bill, then have to start paying the GDP of a small nation to their previous unscrupulous owners. That's a massive risk, and one that I don't see paying off unless miracles happen.
