Adster Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 Cringeworthy. Copying it from all the other clubs who copied it again. At least with the 'Poznan', it was copied quickly. We are about a year too late with this. I was down in front at L1, and it was both funny and embarassing when Jobber got the rythm going, when it came to the actual words nobody knew what to do It's nice to see the stadium bouncing like that but our stadium is full of ****ing sheep. Lighten up you mug!
JmorsonLCFC Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 but yeah, atmos was superb. If the whole stadium did that and knew the words..wow
philce Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 This would be brilliant if - IF - jobber could manage to drum in time... Needs to get practising on the "woah" bits. Get working on those forearms son He looked totally F*ked at the end! Any videos? Plenty of phones out, wont be long!
Simmo86 Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 I love the old 'copied chant' line! 99% OF FOOTBALL CHANTS ARE COPIED! Lighten up!
EnglishOxide Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 bet your well pissed everyone in L1 stands, bet you and your steward freinds are constanlty trying ways to sit us down. good luck with that. Quite the opposite. I'm pro-standing. I signed the FSF petition for safe standing, do you know what that is? Look into it. Just love the fact L1 were totally against the fosse boys bringing in European songs to our support. Now we sing we love you and do the Poznan and its fantastic. A pity they didn't get more support instead of ridicule at the time. Best thing is mate is that he's a steward. Ignore. Was it a coincidence that we played well when we got behind the team? Oh no, my feelings And no. If fans put their energy into cheering and singing (regardless of whether i think it is recycled bollocks) then we would get more performances like that i think.

Leicester_Loyal Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 Absolutely love this chant, and have loved it for quite a while. Couldn't believe we did it tonight, really chuffed.
Happy Fox Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 dcfc_flagman nick webster Dear oh dear!! Not content nicking the Poznan from Man City #lcfcnow steal the renound we love you from Palace. Shame on you, again!! #dcfc F**k off you sheepshagging c**t
Libertine Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 Go and boil your head ! I think you're a twat but that made me piss.
Kitchandro Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 FINALLY an atmosphere!!! Was superb L1 tonight even the family stand got involved... This needs to be the bare minimum every home game!! The team responded to positive support I actually shat myself when that happened. Better than a UFO that one.
thybluefox Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 Copied? Who gives a shit. We love you...we do - copied You are my... - copied We are the greatest team - copied If it gets the crowd going and people supporting the lads then why do people care? It was cracking, keep it up.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 I think there is a cracking version of they Young Boys from Switzerland on line somewhere.
Stand UP... Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 Quite the opposite. I'm pro-standing. I signed the FSF petition for safe standing, do you know what that is? Look into it. Yes i do know the safe standing situation, theres nothing i would love more then this to happen. you shoudlnt have put yourself in badlight with your original comments then coming the good man now.
jonlcfc1990 Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 Dont want to sing it? Then don't but if i catch you trying to boo or critisize i'll go for you! Choosing not to support is one thing but you can't moan if your not going to help. I think it's been proved tonight that we only need 2000 to sing and we will carry the other 22,000 so we won't miss your moans and your boos we will just be there in L and K supporting the lads through thick and thin
Kitchandro Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 If people want us to be original, then for christs sake learn the words to when you're smiling and sing it. That is a song unique to us, our signature song. It would be fvcking amazing if it was sung how I imagine it could be and by the whole of L and K. But no, nobody's bothered when it comes down to it, we stick to the drab version and about 10 people sing it too quickly and half-heartedly. That's why we'll always be sheep. As for this chant, we are a year later than everyone else, but better late than never, it's a good chant and if that many people do it then great. Everyone should bring their scarves to matches because it looks brilliant when everyone's waving them around. The most pleasing thing about the second half today was that we hadn't played well on the whole but still got behind the team, and even more so when we went behind. That is fvcking support, have the optimism people had tonight not the negative attitude we had against Swindon, when we were slagging the team off non-stop for the first hour even though we were winning.
Master Fox Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 Anyone who wants to criticise this should go away and choke themselves to death with a 15ft dildo.
mbmb10 Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 GET MORE OF THESE SONGS! With the woaah wooaa's. A lot of European teams do it
1964FOX Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 It was great at Southampton away and I hoped we would do it at home. L1 sounded and looked awesome tonight. I did try to get it going in the Kop but only my lad and about six others near me sang it, then a small group across in SK 2/3 joined in and a few more twirled their scarves. I will keep trying to get the boring buggers doing it when L1 start, would be great if Kop, L1 and family stand did it. Has to be done at Brighton. As an original Fosse Boy I don't give a shit that it wasn't welcomed when we did it, looks like it is now and it sounds good and creates atmosphere, exactly what we wanted so fantastic. English Oxide you are a one for changing your views to be contrary aren't you, no change there then.
ACF Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 Just love the fact L1 were totally against the fosse boys bringing in European songs to our support. Now we sing we love you and do the Poznan and its fantastic.
Bert Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 Just love the fact L1 were totally against the fosse boys bringing in European songs to our support. Now we sing we love you and do the Poznan and its fantastic. Every person in L1? Don't think so.
Finnegan Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 Still feel a bit dirty that it's palaces chant.. Didn't we used to make up our own? But it's the first time I've seen the family stand up and all the fans singing it seemed to want to boo first half so it's better than that Cringeworthy. People need to seriously get ****ed being so pretentious, to be honest. You cannot have your cake and eat it. Either we all sit in a morgue for ninety minutes and accept the complete death of football atmosphere or we embrace the few things that actually lift the mood in the ground and create a bit of noise. Who gives a shit if it isn't traditional? Football fans have always been sheep, you think ten thousand creative Scousers all got the idea to sing YNWA spontaneously? They were just singing along to a PA and it caught on! It isn't Crystal Palace's song, it isn't' ANY English clubs' song - they've all just copied it from the continent, the same as the tune to Leeds' Jermaine Beckford song and countless others. Just enjoy it for what it is. And the irony is you defend the Poznan which is tacky, Butlins style slapstick comedy that does sod all for atmosphere anywhere else in the ground that should have stopped months ago. Face it, the whole ground is never going to stand up and boom out some anthemic version of When You're Smiling and most of our other songs have been shit for literally a decade. If going "oooh ooh ooooooooh!" is a bit easier for people then get off your sad little football high horses and join in. 'Cos I tell you what, even segments of C2 did yesterday. Hell, I saw scarves going in the main stand!!
anglodan Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 FINALLY an atmosphere!!! Was superb L1 tonight even the family stand got involved... This needs to be the bare minimum every home game!! The team responded to positive support We were talking in the kop about what a flat atmosphere it was. We attributed it the the cold and it was a mid season game. Improved slightly last 10 with all the scarf waving, just need some noise to go along with it!
