Guest MattP Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 It was the best I could think of In other words, ligthen up and dont be so bloody negative! That's better.
Raj Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 Dear oh Dear. Im 40 but still like a good singsong if if i had the chance id jump up and down(not for too long nowadays tho) Filbo is history. The ground id history. This era is different. The stadiums are different and the folk who occupy them are too. Rejoice in what we can muster up and beginnneth the trail for ones original song. Until then copy others and sing...else ho shopping or support Anstey Nomads!!! Big Up to Big Jobber yday...the boy must have been fcuked afterwards!!!
shade Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 let's sing: come on Leicester... oh wait. lets sing: we love you Leicester, we do... oh wait, let's sing: Nigel pearsons blue and white army... oh wait. let's sing: there's only one Nigel Pearson.... oh wait. who cares if other fans sing the same songs, other fans wear football shirts and scarfs too so you best stop that as well? big shows.
Finnegan Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 Tradition!? TRADITION!? IT'S A ****ING FOOTBALL CHANT!! Aarrgghhh. Jesus Christ, I'm inexplicably annoyed by this.
Libertine Dream Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 Maybe do WYS with a bit more conviction? Or LCFC (RoF)? Those are our things and should be at the centre of any atmosphere we create, not the latest 'cool' thing to do. Why every time originality comes up do people feel the need to bring up WYS, we'd all love to do it and people should start it properly but if we're going to be pedantic about these things, it isn't at all original, we took a song and sang it without properly adding to it or changing it. How many things really are 'original'? And was Ring of Fire really ours?
Basingstoke Fox Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 Last night aside (and even that was only the second half, first half atmosphere was awful) I don't think this has been the case for quite a few years, like most say it was in the old days Probably a fair point. I very rarely go to games at the KP let alone midweek ones (think my only midweek at home was Villa in the cup), but there is always more chance of a decent atmosphere in midweek. I remember people talking about Birmingham at home in that awful year of 2008. I daresay that even Southampton away possibly had a better atmosphere on the Monday night than it would've done if it was played on the Saturday.
Lcfcman2010 Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 I bet the majority of the people moaning about the chant are the same ****** that phone radio leicester week in, week out with stupid ****ing comments! Best left at home watching it on a free feed from thailand! ******! It was great, the louder it will get the KP will be bouncing. good work to all. long may it continue.
yorkie1999 Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 Ive been whistling it all day at work and had a few things chucked at me!!
Raj Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 Ive been singing it to the words "All your fans are Gay...Gay...Gay....All your fans are Gay...Gay...Gay.... Wooooaahhhhhhh...Wooooaahhhhh! It rhymes pretty good actually!!!
Vlad the Fox Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 I thought it was good and created a much better atmosphere. Personally I think that anything that makes the atmosphere better/louder should be encouraged. For people wanting something original and relevant to us then what about kasabian's LSF.
Kitchandro Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 Ive been singing it to the words "All your fans are Gay...Gay...Gay....All your fans are Gay...Gay...Gay.... Wooooaahhhhhhh...Wooooaahhhhh! It rhymes pretty good actually!!! Good excuse to post this classic And quite well timed considering who our next opponents are.

Should be the goal music, which when comes on should be utilised in some way and then carried on after, a bit like QPR's Hoops thing.
MrFox781 Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 Bring your scarves for Brighton. Cannot ****ing wait.
Storming Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 Last night was the best atmosphere ive been to at the KP unless of course I count the 4-0 stuffing of Forest Im 53 and still like to jump up and down a get behind the lads .Dont forget we're here for a good time not for a long time your a long time dead you know :scarf: :scarf: Sing on boys sing on :chant: :chant: :chant: :chant:
jonthefox Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 Ive been whistling it all day at work and had a few things chucked at me!! Oddly enough, so have i.
Mad Dog Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 Been humming this all day at work. Fu k me I hope this gets going at Brighton and we get our whole end bouncing
Babylon Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 Just to dismantle the opposition to this chant. 1) "It's been copied, it's Crystal Palace's chant." About 95% of football chants are copied, does it really matter? It got us our second for sure. And no, it isn't Crystal Palace's chant. It's St. Pauli's. 2) "It's cringeworthy, let's sing WYS instead." Yes, many of us would love to get WYS sung louder and slower than it currently is but why knock any other song that becomes popular? Why is it cringeworthy to support our team? Last night we were louder than Boro whilst they were celebrating their equaliser. I bet you're the same people that moan about lack of atmosphere so you should embrace it when it comes regardless of its medium. 3) "I'm 50 and I don't want to be jumping and swinging a scarf like a loony." My relatives over 50 joined in and all do the poznan. However, if you don't want to fine. But you should seriously consider never attending a Leicester match again if you're going to slate OUR own fans for supporting OUR team. Well if number 3 is aimed at me Mr LCFC Superfan 2012, would you care to point out where exactly I knocked anyone doing it. I did stupid shit like this when I was a kid, i've grown up now, get the **** over it. Some people don't find jumping about like a nutter that appealing any more.
FuriousFox46 Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 Well if number 3 is aimed at me Mr LCFC Superfan 2012, would you care to point out where exactly I knocked anyone doing it. I did stupid shit like this when I was a kid, i've grown up now, get the **** over it. Some people don't find jumping about like a nutter that appealing any more. What is your point? I don't care if you don't join in. I said don't tell others how to support the team just because you don't approve. Stop the selective reading, you look like an idiot.
Houdini Logic Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 Well if number 3 is aimed at me Mr LCFC Superfan 2012, would you care to point out where exactly I knocked anyone doing it. I did stupid shit like this when I was a kid, i've grown up now, get the **** over it. Some people don't find jumping about like a nutter that appealing any more. I didn't stand up, jump about or swing my scarf yesterday (it was far too cold) - but at the same time I'd never say anything like the bold above. Could be the difference...
Vlad the Fox Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 Should be the goal music, which when comes on should be utilised in some way and then carried on after, a bit like QPR's Hoops thing. I think if that was the case then large sections of the crowd would sing it. Now that would sound good. Come on L1/Kop lets get it going.
SaltyDog Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 Yep, my missus took this video... Now although it may be a 'Palace' Chant... who gives a shit.. it warmed me, the missus and everyone around us up, got the family stand chanting *shock* and waving their scarfs and sure the extra noise made an impact on the players... I hope we can keep it up home and away... it's atmosphere like this that reminds me of the O'neil days when in the KOP and we all loved them
m00nie Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 What is your point? I don't care if you don't join in. I said don't tell others how to support the team just because you don't approve. Stop the selective reading, you look like an idiot. hold on you make a seperate thread trying to tell people to stay away from football (even though it could have quite easy gone in here but you got your gold star so well done) no one on here as told you how to support the team so think your getting others mixed up with yourself...
Adster Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 Been humming this all day at work. Fu k me I hope this gets going at Brighton and we get our whole end bouncing Same here Have been humming it all day at Sixth Form..
Master Fox Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 This is absolutely brilliant. Keep it up. Best chant we've had for so long..... LOVE IT ! Well done everyone involved. Sing it at Brighton those of you who are going, please.
