cc_star Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 Leicester have hit the back of the net in 12 league games in a row, this is the longest scoring run in the division Boring, boring... oh so cautious Pearson! This coincides with a run of just 1 defeat in the last 9 games, sadly a couple too many draws in there which really shows we do need the defence to tighten up further. This may shed some light on why Morgan has been signed despite us having strong defenders on paper. Thoughts?
jonlcfc1990 Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 WE'RE LEICESTER CITY WE'LL SCORE WHEN WE WANT!
wellyfox Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 And Becks 6 in 4 when did a striker last do that for us. Strong defenders on paper is fine but the games played on grass
Darkon84 Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 Woah woah woah, calm down. We are boring, negative Leicester and all our players are totally shit and none are good enough to play for us.....How VERY dare you post something positive, such as pointing out our good scoring run, shame on you, sir!
foxfanazer Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 WE'RE LEICESTER CITY WE'LL SCORE WHEN WE WANT! Love it!
Corky Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 It's good to see, we just need to outscore the opposition a bit more.
jonlcfc1990 Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 SCORE LEICESTER SCORE WHEN YOU GET ONE YOU'LL GET MORE
Finnegan Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 Stats lie. It's nice that we're scoring but that doesn't mean tge entertainment value has been high. I'm not a negative poster and I have no issue with Pearson but lets not act like all the criticism against the team lately has been unjust. We've played some awful football. Ipswich was a classic example, as was the first half yesterday. Might have knicked a goal but we were largely awful to watch.

It's just the way it is. Unlike the premier league you get pressed on the ball and don't always get space in between midfield and defence, I agree it's not always great to watch but let's not pretend we are any worse than most teams in the championship

We are scoring but it's not flowing football and that's probably why we can't kill off teams.
Guest ttfn Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 And Becks 6 in 4 when did a striker last do that for us. Strong defenders on paper is fine but the games played on grass Fryatt got 6 in 2 as recently as 2008. I might add it was against similar quality opposition to that which Beckford has plundered 5 of his goals in his recent run.

Stop with all this balanced opinion nonsense!
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 Decent run, just need two winds in a row FFS!
Larry_LCFC Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 Decent run, just need two winds in a row FFS! Weather is supposed to get worse next week. Your wish is God's command
cc_star Posted 4 February 2012 Author Posted 4 February 2012 STOP MAKING THREADS LIKE THIS. It jinxes us At least the run's broke and we can concentrate on the important one... Our red card run
Thracian Posted 4 February 2012 Posted 4 February 2012 As mentioned elsewhere we've scored one goal or less far too many times in league matches this season, including during Pearson's watch. We'll never accumulate the points we need doing that.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 4 February 2012 Posted 4 February 2012 "I'm Mates With The Ref" "Longest Scoring Run In The League" I'd like to point out before our next match, that no football has every exploded on the pitch killing 2 players and severely maiming 3 others, in a Leicester City match before.
