Good to see we are taking advantage of british talent unlike literally every other club in the country. Now they just need to show us what they are capeable of!

But you still get my point. Nice to see some home grown talent for once - hopefully a few will play for england one day!

Was always under the impression that he was Danish but maybe you know better......
deep blue Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Him getting booked hasn't cost us any points though! Not his fault he gets a soft free kick given against him! Because he's got himself booked, he now needs to go extra carefully so he doesn't get another one, so he may have to pull out of tackles he might otherwise have a go at, and that could cost a goal. So even if he doesn't get another booking, it still has a negative effect for us.

My point was that as captain he has an onus to speak with the referee if he sees a decision has gone against us, the ref, now feeling aggrieved at being called wrong, has booked him as if to say "jog on lad, I'm the big gun around here" ie; not entirely his fault.
