GoddyFox Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Well, sunderland 2-0 up with 11 mins left...
whoareyaaa Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 the worse draw we could get would be Everton away.
Weller in Tights Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 The gods have written it in the stars. We will get Sunderland at home in the Quarter Finals. We will give Martin O'Neill a big warm welcome. Then beat the Mackems 3-0
acooling08 Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Having watched Sunderland maul Arsenal today I hope we don't get them. It'd be horrible for our best shot at the FA Cup in years to be ended by Martin O'God.
Salieri Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 I think I'd rather it be anyone but Sunderland. Can see it happening though.
Guy Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 If it turns out to be that way then I suppose it will rekindle memories of us beating Villa away 0-1 in the league cup in 2007, when he was there!
Corky Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Sunderland look very threatening. Any game we get will be tough from now on, I'd like a home match.
Simmo86 Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Bolton away for me! Big allocation and a trip to the grim North!
Guest Bilo Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Bolton at home would be doable. We'll get Sunderland away though.
Happy Fox Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 I am hoping it will be Crawley or Stevenage or Birmingham at home.
Hollism Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 I don't think a home game would be that great. The KP would be half empty again, whereas any away end in the country would sell out! Crawley (nowhere near as worrying as they were before they sold Matt Tubbs) or Stevenage (much better than Spurs will be expecting) away for me. I'd like Spurs away if not though. Don't fancy meeting Bolton in the semis cos they'll have a point to prove after losing 5-0 last year. I think I might put a tenner on Sunderland to win the whole thing though at 6/1
Libertine Dream Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 The problem is if Steveange beat Spurs then theyre more than capable of beating us. Bolton away is the best draw, useless at home and with 5000 of us travelling up there we may well be in the semi final.

Not sure why anyone would want that.
Corky Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Every team we could play should, on paper, be a Premier League team. There is no way the ground would be half empty.

Not sure why anyone would want that. If we got drawn Crawley at home for example, a lot of people would look at it and see it as a guarenteed trip to Wembley, and save their cash for that. About 20k home fans?
GingerrrFox Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 I want Everton away, good game and it's one we can win! Plus Beckford would be sooo up for it he would probably bag a few...

About 20k home fans? You might have a point with them or Stevenage (and I don't expect either to go through), but if it was anyone else, even if it was Birmingham or Brighton, I think we'd be close to a sellout. And anyway, if we beat Crawley at home in front of 20K I'd be happy because then there'd be 40K heading down to Wembley, which would make this season more memorable than we could have imagined. We've not been in the semis since 1982 and that's too long. We haven't been to the new Wembley either. I really want to get there. With a bit of luck and another performance like yesterday it could happen.

Today's game was the first FA cup game I've missed this season because I was on holiday when tickets went on sale, but I won't miss any more. Being only 17, I've not been to Wembley but there's a massive chance that that will change this year!

foxoffderby Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 We will get Sunderland away and get beat 4-0.
