Mission Unlikely Promotion Posted 26 February 2012 Posted 26 February 2012 Everybody deserves a 2nd chance in life when they balls up, lets hope Mills realises what a tool he has been and sincerley apologises, either that or we flog him in the summer
Jace Posted 26 February 2012 Posted 26 February 2012 Are we straying into Dennis Wise territory here? He was sacked. Although his "resale" value was negligible and we'd signed him on a free transfer. I'm not sure that Mills would have to be paid off if a court found his dismissal to be fair. Its an example of how you can be sacked and like Captain Shrapnel commented it would be stupid to want to terminate his contract anyway yeah he's on £40000 a week almost but he still has a resale value possibly of £2 million
speedwayson Posted 26 February 2012 Posted 26 February 2012 if you read this highly rated defender you look at record the biggist club he as played for is man city twice if he was that good they would of kept him or anther premership club could have come in for him they didnt and like i have said if he was that good reading would have not sold him they did southhamton could of got him they didnt dose this tell you they all know somthing that we know now at hower cost he was not worth the 5million payed. plus he as not gone yet he could go on gardening leave until the end of the seasion then he could shiped out for good like tevez at city and rooney at united they think they can hold clubs to ramsom this is now showing they cannt

Bert Posted 26 February 2012 Posted 26 February 2012 There's a rumour going round that Pearson stuck the nut on Mills. Let me re-iterate its only a rumour and I'd be very surprised if it was true.
Mission Unlikely Promotion Posted 26 February 2012 Posted 26 February 2012 dennis wise joined for 1.6 million That was the WORST signing we EVER made, that little fookin piece of shite is the most despised man in our history
Jace Posted 26 February 2012 Posted 26 February 2012 There's a rumour going round that Pearson stuck the nut on Mills. Let me re-iterate its only a rumour and I'd be very surprised if it was true. Sorry to sound stupid but when Pearson sticks the nut on someone what does it mean?
Out Foxed Posted 26 February 2012 Posted 26 February 2012 Sorry to sound stupid but when Pearson sticks the nut on someone what does it mean? headbutted either that or he jizzed on him
Jace Posted 26 February 2012 Posted 26 February 2012 headbutted either that or he jizzed on him Oh I see! Wouldn't of thought Pearson was the type of guy to give his captain a Tony Pulis
accessory Posted 26 February 2012 Posted 26 February 2012 There's a rumour going round that Pearson stuck the nut on Mills. Let me re-iterate its only a rumour and I'd be very surprised if it was true. If there's ANY truth in that, Pearson would be in VERY serious trouble. That would definitely be Dennis Wise territory, even if he was provoked. But I'd seriously doubt it, because if it had happened, Mills wouldn't seem the type to keep the incident quiet, and the likes of Warnock and Bates certainly aren't.
thybluefox Posted 26 February 2012 Posted 26 February 2012 If that would have seriously happened Pearson would be done for. Complete BS.
Captain... Posted 26 February 2012 Posted 26 February 2012 Are we straying into Dennis Wise territory here? He was sacked. Although his "resale" value was negligible and we'd signed him on a free transfer. I'm not sure that Mills would have to be paid off if a court found his dismissal to be fair. In normal employment laws you need to be given verbal and written warnings before you can be sacked, otherwise you are effectively buying them out their contract. Depending on how serious the row was with Mills I doubt it would be sufficient grounds to terminate someone's contract, especially if there is no evidence of it happening, it would also depend when and where it happened and who was around to witness it. The Dennis Wise thing was different he brokoe someone's jaw, that is gross misconduct and a sackable offence. As for Nigel sticking his nut on him, if that had happened Matt Mills would be dead, and not even Leeds would take a dead player off us.
Captain... Posted 26 February 2012 Posted 26 February 2012 Brilliant, but why spoil it with that posh tw@ in the last frame?
Libertine Dream Posted 26 February 2012 Posted 26 February 2012 There's a rumour going round that Pearson stuck the nut on Mills. Let me re-iterate its only a rumour and I'd be very surprised if it was true. RUBBISH! Had that happened we'd know about it by now, charges would be brought and Mills would be crying to the media. NP is too measured to do that, he reacts to nothing.
caz05 Posted 26 February 2012 Posted 26 February 2012 Brilliant, but why spoil it with that posh tw@ in the last frame? Is it suppose to be SSL
Jace Posted 26 February 2012 Posted 26 February 2012 Brilliant, but why spoil it with that posh tw@ in the last frame? couldn't find a picture of SSL laughing
Bert Posted 26 February 2012 Posted 26 February 2012 Like I said, was only a rumour! Done some digging and it seems it was the other way round. Of course this is all gossip and could be bullshit, take it however you will. Just passing it on.

However if Mills had nutted NP it would explain the want to suddenly have him gone.
Lisburn Fox Posted 26 February 2012 Posted 26 February 2012 If we let Mills go out on loan to Leeds, it will just prove that we are not that shrewd, tell him to dry his eyes n fight for his place. Loan is NOT an option especially to a team that are there or there abouts. Maybe not had a great season but I will remind people of a young Steve Walsh who when he came from Wigan did not set the East Midlands a light in his first season, look what happened there!!

Happy Fox Posted 26 February 2012 Posted 26 February 2012 Surely if Mills decked NP he would be sacked by the club?
Jace Posted 26 February 2012 Posted 26 February 2012 Surely if Mills decked NP he would be sacked by the club? Na the Club would much prefer to sell him if this had happened, try to coup back some of the £4 million they paid for him back
Bert Posted 26 February 2012 Posted 26 February 2012 Surely if Mills decked NP he would be sacked by the club? You'd think so but the club like to keep things internal - imagine if it got out into the papers!
