The club hate stuff like this getting out. Which is why it's always "hearsay". Like I said, was only a rumour! Done some digging and it seems it was the other way round. Of course this is all gossip and could be bullshit, take it however you will. Just passing it on. You'd think so but the club like to keep things internal - imagine if it got out into the papers! Pearson didn't take part in the press conference that they have 2 days before the game (derby) on Tuesday. Just had it confirmed that MM didn't butt NP. Told you it was all a rumour.

I do think it's worth stating that despite the fact that you prefixed the original comments by stating it was rumour, these are quite serious allegations to be stating and as such you should probably have considered the credibility of your source before spouting them over the internet. This is not some fanciful transfer gossip. This is talking about serious allegations. Edit: Grammar

The point being there are a lot of people on here who still believe you actually get information (strange considering your record over the last year). Whether you put "it's a rumour" or not, it gets repeated elsewhere that you have said it happened. Now you can't help that, but perhaps knowing many people wait with baited breath to listen to what you have to say, I would have hoped you would post with a bit more caution. Especially as you seem to have managed to check with your "source" and confirm it as nonsense quite quickly. Someone with one post would just get pretty much ignored, someone with a rep such as yourself doesn't i'm afraid.

I just think that being first to the punch on the next loan deal is significantly different to being the first to the punch on an allegation of serious misconduct which is harmful to peoples reputation.

Repeating much information already available on twitter, sky, the Mercury etc without crediting them as sources. Taking flyers on things you think inevitable only to end up with a bit of egg on your face. Unfortunately you have got so much wrong (especially regarding transfers) your reputation has been tarnished. If people want to be blinkered to that then that's up to them, and you can hide behind the "I post what im told", "transfers don't always come off", "You've upset me so i'm not posting on here any more" stuff for so long, but eventually people will stop believing... and posting rumours on here isn't going to help with that. If we had just sacked him we would of been fine.

If we had just sacked him we would of been fine. We didn't contest the unfair dismissal hearing because the the old board that sacked him had already gone bust and therefore it was a new company and not liable.

Anyway whether it is true or not it certainly made for a few amusing posts.
