Wellens has been named captain, wonder who's vice captain? St. Ledger?

Its going to be weird watching Wellens at Wembley step up to lift the FA Cup!

You slap (metaphorically) the player down, put them in their place and have the rest of the team see how you make the player behave how you want. see rooney vs fergie. you dont get your knickers in a knot and send the player away... ner ner ner :P see im the boss :P :P :P :P

stil my point remains.. Leeds?... LEEDS????????

This, totally this.

Did MON strip Garry Parker of the captaincy and send him out on loan after the infamous tea cup was thrown??? Think we all know the answer to that one.

Is he actually a Leicester fan though? Or just a follower? I think that's a myth that was created when he said he had family in Leicester.

Happy to be proven wrong if he did say it.

He actually said on bbc news last week that he is a leicester fan and has been since a boy .

He did half of that, yes. Steve Walsh was appointed captain.

I don't really know what to think of this. Maybe it's all a ploy....

Leeds get loaned our "star" centre back.

They go from strength to strength, and secure 3rd spot in the league with a game to go.

We sit level on points with Hull but outside the play-offs on goal difference.

We go into the last game of the season against Leeds and Mills gets accidentally injured and has to come off.

We go on to win, Hull lose thanks to 3 own goals from Agent Fryatt and we sneak the play-offs.

Mills says his injury is minor and plays in Leeds' semi guiding them to a close fought win over Blackpool, who are then distraught and go bust. Hollowhead gets declared insane and is put in an asylum as a result.

We lose to Cardiff 1-0 at home to a Peter Whittingham free kick in our semi and everyone moans about NP being too defensive.

We go to Cardiff and smash them for 6 with Waggy getting a cameo hat-trick in the last 10 minutes after returning from Hull.

Whiny bitch fans admit Pearson was right.

Michael Chopra bitterly insults Bernie on the train home. Bernie does not like this and proceeds to beat him within an inch of his smug life whilst hurling abuse at him.

Play-off final day comes and Mills' injury strikes again except this time it's serious, he has to have his leg removed. No more hoofball for him.

We go on to beat Leeds comfortably and the Blue Army take over Wembley.

....it could happen. The most unlikely thing is Waggy scoring.

Would Mills be able to play against his own club in a league fixture?

Good riddance to bad rubbish, terrible signing, terrible player, terrible attitude.

Seems we should of listened to the Reading fans in the first place.

This is great news, and in the words of Wanda Jackson - Let's have a party.

He's better than Matt Mills

He's better than Matt Mills

Sean St Ledger, Sean St Ledger

He's better than Matt Mills

****s sake.

So we are helping a rival club. And we are still paying his wages.

Insantity from Pearson.. almost as bad as as bringing Howard on as a sub.

How do you know who's paying his wages? I would be surprised if Leeds are not paying a substantial part - they might even be paying a substantial loan fee dependent upon Leeds' league position/promotion.

Pearson's career is dependent on making important decisions - the defensive options look among the best in the Championship so you can't say we will miss Mills.

It is not really defensible to rant at your manager over team selection when as, Pearson says, that is his job.

He'll do as well at Leeds as Patrick Kisnorbo has i.e. he'll be an average Championship defender and like old Paddy will still be a little reckless at times. Oh, and by the way, apparently he's supported Leeds since his primary school days.

In the matchday programme he said he supported whoever was top of the first divison...

Pearson cannot choose what team Mills joins, or what team makes a bid. If Leeds are the only team to make an offer then that is it.

Bit strange but not surprising given St Leger and, Morgan and Sol all in tip top form. Hate that we are doing willy puller Warnock a favour though.

And Chopra running into bernie given he plays for Ipswich now.

If we're still paying his wages then why not help old Chrissy Powell get promoted?

Better than helping a rival.

It would be better, but it's not an option - Charlton wouldn't be able to afford the loan and Mills wouldn't go for it. As I've said before, we don't really get to choose where Mills ends up. There will only be a few clubs who Mills can be offloaded to. Leeds maybe the only option. It's probably a choice between loaning him to Leeds or nothing, i.e. he stays here and ruins the harmony at the club.

Our last two defensive displays have been pretty much exemplary. This is a great move for Mills and the club. Those who're crying over this guy leaving ON LOAN need to take a hard look at themselves quite frankly, because St.Ledger and Morgan are five times the player Mills is

I've been saying all season that SSL has been our best defender whenever he's played and got mocked. This was well before the fall out too.

His distribution is actually excellent the only problem I had with St Ledger was that when he had the ball earlier in the season he seemed to go sideways a lot and that was passing.. Mills being sent out on loan might sort him out.

Bert do you know he actual fee we paid for Mills

****ing joke. Absolutely gutted at this.He has so much more to give and he obviously does want to play for us. Obviously Morgan and StLedger are first choice but surely he can be fighting to win his place back instead of doing well at Leeds and also with them in front of us were only helping them by giving him away to them. FUMING

This is actually a ****IN EMBARASSMENT :glare:

lol he did make some stupid decisions, I mean a double footed tackle against Birmingham even though the ball was no way near the goal

Er, make your mind up. You were gunna commit suicide when you first read about this.
