FuriousFox46 Posted 28 February 2012 Posted 28 February 2012 To me, no we aren't rivals. To the young lot you are a big rival. So in balance you are a bit of a rival, to me you are not. George, if you don't consider us rivals, what exactly is the reason for your 200+ posts on our forum? Coventry are really only rivals to people living in Hinckley. It'll always be Forest and Derby for me. You'll see by how little the attendance rises on Saturday.
Out Foxed Posted 28 February 2012 Posted 28 February 2012 to be honest. i do think cov is a shithole. but i know one person from the city and that person is a good lad.
Bugg Posted 28 February 2012 Posted 28 February 2012 Cov are annoying I don't care if they aren't our "rivals" I just find them annoying, just like I find Stoke City and Burnley annoying.
FuriousFox46 Posted 28 February 2012 Posted 28 February 2012 Cov are annoying I don't care if they aren't our "rivals" I just find them annoying, just like I find Stoke City and Burnley annoying. and Reading, why would someone name a settlement after a literary process?
Hantsfox Posted 28 February 2012 Posted 28 February 2012 Living in Hampshire, guess who I see as our big rivals? Clue?, They are top of the Championship!! Bar Stewards. I agree, HaHa !! we don't half have to put with some shit from those scummers at work.
LCFC FOX Posted 28 February 2012 Posted 28 February 2012 Ditto why Leicester fans have spent a lot of time on our forums. Of course we are rivals, you even mention in one of your songs how little you care about us, which is the height of irony. I actually wanted to come on here to discuss the game, but I guess you guys are more interested in mud slinging. Oh well..... will look forward to our (shock) victory over you on Saturday. At the end of the day we have nothing to lose in this game, everyone is writing us off, may just work in our favour. What song is that
Happy Fox Posted 28 February 2012 Author Posted 28 February 2012 What song is that We hate Forest, we hate Derby, who the f**k are the Coventry

Thought the derby attendance was poor this season considering they are our main rival, sky or not!! Coventry have replaced derby to a fair few Leicester fans over the last few years I believe
Bugg Posted 28 February 2012 Posted 28 February 2012 and Reading, why would someone name a settlement after a literary process? I'll agree with Reading, only because they fvcking hammer me every time I play against them on football manager. No matter who I'm playing as I always get my ass handed to me about 4/5-0
Corky Posted 28 February 2012 Posted 28 February 2012 To put this to bed Kasabian refused to support Oasis at the Ricoh as it is home to their biggest rivals. That proves everything.
Kitchandro Posted 28 February 2012 Posted 28 February 2012 I wonder how many City games Kasabian have been to in recent years
Simmo86 Posted 28 February 2012 Posted 28 February 2012 Thought the derby attendance was poor this season considering they are our main rival, sky or not!! Coventry have replaced derby to a fair few Leicester fans over the last few years I believe No Chance
Kitchandro Posted 28 February 2012 Posted 28 February 2012 I'll agree with Reading, only because they fvcking hammer me every time I play against them on football manager. No matter who I'm playing as I always get my ass handed to me about 4/5-0 On FIFA I always get hammered by shit teams. Wigan, Fulham and Blackburn are the worst, thrash me every time but I always beat Man Utd at Old Trafford and Newcastle at St James...I mean SportsDirect Arena. Oh and any lower league side in the cup always draw 3-3 with me an take it to pens.
FuriousFox46 Posted 28 February 2012 Posted 28 February 2012 No Chance The 'We fvcking hate you' chants to Derby aren't something Coventry would get. Anyone else find the sheep's reaction on Thursday hilarious, leaving Pride Park was a treat.
Matt Posted 28 February 2012 Posted 28 February 2012 That big away following keeps on rising... http://www.coventrycity-mad.co.uk/feat/ed15/816_tickets_sold_for_leicester_731516/index.shtml
Kitchandro Posted 28 February 2012 Posted 28 February 2012 Thought the derby attendance was poor this season considering they are our main rival, sky or not!! Coventry have replaced derby to a fair few Leicester fans over the last few years I believe I've got to say my feelings towards Derby aren't as strong as they used to be. Then again, that might be because they are so easy to beat. I mean really, they just roll over and take it like a bitch every time. However 4 out of the last 5 games against Coventry have been really frustrating, I still cannot work out how we only managed 4 and not 12 points out of those matches. Listening to them call us interbred because they think it's an insult for 25 minutes running starts to get on your wick. I probably care about Coventry losing every week more than Derby. Games against Derby seem to have better atmosphere's though, the 4-0 and the rememberance day fvck up were pretty special.

Basingstoke Fox Posted 28 February 2012 Posted 28 February 2012 I agree, HaHa !! we don't half have to put with some shit from those scummers at work. Which is why beating them was so sweet . We need a win against Reading for all the North Hampshire Foxes, every single one of me. I thought many of our fans did care about Coventry? It's all about where you live. I don't hate Cov, Derby or Forest (though I dislike Forest a lot after our last two league games at the City Ground!!) Does it really matter that much though? Personally I'd absolutely love to hammer Stoke after what they did to us a few years ago... c**ts.

FuriousFox46 Posted 28 February 2012 Posted 28 February 2012 That proves everything. Well obviously we all abide by the rules and opinions of Kasabian...
Corky Posted 28 February 2012 Posted 28 February 2012 The games against Derby at Filbert St were pretty intense.
lestajigs Posted 28 February 2012 Posted 28 February 2012 The games against Derby at Filbert St were pretty intense. Every game was intense at filbert street for me, in pen 1
FuriousFox46 Posted 28 February 2012 Posted 28 February 2012 Yeah, our derby with Derby has diluted somewhat.
Matt Posted 28 February 2012 Posted 28 February 2012 Jesus I really fucking hope Coventry and Forest do go down, not just because i'd enjoy seeing them go down but once and for all we can stop this petty, pathetic arugement over 'who is our proper rival?' it's boring, and it happens even time a Coventry, Forest, Derby match comes up, sometime even when we're not playing any of the 3. Atleast when Coventry go down (And hopefully Forest follow them) we'll be left with Derby, that will then be a local derby, like it or not.
Corky Posted 28 February 2012 Posted 28 February 2012 Every game was intense at filbert street for me, in pen 1 It probably was, but when you look at the old videos, and also I remember being there as a youngster (late 90's) the noise around it was so much greater than now.
