Na Arsenal is on & I'm far more interested in the Blackhawks makin the playoffs But the mo fos at ESPN have taken it off the air so I'm left with AHL... no thankz
James across the Pond Posted 6 March 2012 Author Posted 6 March 2012 Haha ouch. AHL is rough times. Na Arsenal is on & I'm far more interested in the Blackhawks makin the playoffs But the mo fos at ESPN have taken it off the air so I'm left with AHL... no thankz
Larry_LCFC Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 More excited to know the result of this game than our own to be honest . Magic of the FA Cup and all that...
TheUltimateWinner Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Ill be watching this and listening to LCFC vs Bristol via my headphones...

Fox92 Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 I'll be listening to Stringer and probably be on FIFA. Not going to watch Birmingham v Chelsea, because I know that if I do the result I want won't happen! Most important game tonight is Bristol City v Leicester, in my opinion.
Kitchandro Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 I'll keep an eye on it. I can hear us on the radio and watch it with the sound off.
fox in the sox Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 I'll keep an eye on it. I can hear us on the radio and watch it with the sound off. Same here. It seems most people want Chelsea to get through. I don't get this. If we played Chelsea away 100 times how many would we win? Very few. Birmingham away is a tough game but would give us a really good chance if we played to our best.
dannythefox Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 I'm going to watch and I'm hoping for a Brum win!
JonnyBoy Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 after juggling in my head which team i would rather win i have decided either tbh, both has its pro's and con's.... Brum in the sense its closer, debatable whether or not it is an easier fixture... however the ground is shite and this season when i went to watch City play it was a dull atmosphere. Chelsea further away with possible travelling issues, Glamour fixture, More fans, better ground. Potentially tougher fixture but going by their form atm both teams are beatable

Obviously a Cup Quarter-Final is going to be a different kettle of fish. It should be a sellout. Likewise I'm not sure why people think our players won't be as fired up for it against Birmingham. I should think they all want to get to Wembley as much as we do, regardless of who we beat on the way.
Saxondale Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Didn't realise this was on ITV. Just broached the subject with the misses, it's not gone down well.

I agree, would say we perform alot better when we are underdogs though..... Are we underdrogs against Brum?? i personally dont think we are at all
strattylcfc Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Forgot it was on ITV U know il be watching it with 1 eye on the boys c'mon Leicester =D

Are we underdrogs against Brum?? i personally dont think we are at all I suppose we'll be viewed as underdogs because we're below them and they're at home. But it could go either way. We've got a much better chance of beating them than Chelsea, in theory. On the other hand losing to a Championship would hurt more. In terms of travelling and convenience Brum is far easier for most living in Leicester. I'd probably say Birmingham would be my preferred choice but tbh we've got a chance in either, they are one off games and you never know how teams are going to perform on the day.
purpleronnie Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 I'll be boring and predict chelsea to win against brum and then beat us....the dullest outcome is usually the correct one.
RonnieTodger Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Both winning have their perks. Chelsea - day out at Stamford Bridge. Birmingham - Cheaper, nearer, and easier opponents?

Are we underdrogs against Brum?? i personally dont think we are at all With their current form and home record (Forest aside) I'd say we are slightly underdogs. Don't think it will make a jot of difference if we do play Brum though.
whoareyaaa Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Birmingham would be considered the weaker team to play surely Chelsea wont carry on this run now AVB has gone.. even if we get Chelsea we will give them a go so doesnt really matter but would prefer Birmingham then Liverpool in the Semi's
AjcW Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Blimey Keano needs to chill out! Bit of an over reaction to the whole ear flicking thing!
