corbyfox1884 Posted 14 March 2012 Posted 14 March 2012 Need your help lads..wheres the atmosphere going to be at its best ( apart from the Bridge of course ) when the ref blows his whistle to send us to Wemberley yet again ? Any tips mucho appreciated as we are not locals ....
Ashley Posted 14 March 2012 Posted 14 March 2012 O'Neils. Normally good for atmosphere in there. Soar Point is good, cheap IF you have a yellow card and is normally rammed.
leicesterisme Posted 14 March 2012 Posted 14 March 2012 I'd probably say O'Neils. It will be decent in there.
Guest Bilo Posted 14 March 2012 Posted 14 March 2012 I've got to find one in Skegness, which is virtually an outpost of Nottingham in March so should be fun.
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 I've got to find one in Skegness, which is virtually an outpost of Nottingham in March so should be fun. The former Litten Tree (next to the Embassy, now a Yates's apparently), surely, or the one on the corner of the clock tower if it's got its licence back.
Filbert_Ross Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 Soar Point the Soar point is shit. Probably more Chelsea 'fans' in the there than Leicester fans
MarkHowieLCFC Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 Gonna have to be oneills I guess...hope there's gonna be a fair few of you in there cos I'll be a joe bates otherwise...
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 Some Leicester pubs won't show it sadly and bear in mind it's on ESPN. We'll all be in the John O'Gaunt.
MONreborn Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 Near town on braunstone gate Bar 66 is a good shout they got loads of tvs and a big screen. Drinks are cheap too.
BrummieFOX Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 I'll stand by my opinion that there are no good pubs in Leicester city centre to watch football. There are a fair few outside of the centre mind you.
Podge Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 Anyone watching in Nottingham? I'll be hungover in Nottingham Sunday and would like to watch with fellow foxes.
Guest Col city fan Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 The Salmon.. Lovely little boozer near the bus station, usually has the footy on
RowlattsFox Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 Where are the blackpool foxes watching the game Sunday?
The Year Of The Fox Posted 16 March 2012 Posted 16 March 2012 If anyone is around the coalville area, I'd deffo recommend going to watch it down The Fountain in Swannington. Smallish pub but madsive beer garden n play area to leave the kids! It'll be heaving with die hard leicester
Bayfox Posted 16 March 2012 Posted 16 March 2012 the Soar point is shit. Probably more Chelsea 'fans' in the there than Leicester fans Probably more plastic Man Utd and Liverpool fans, even when they aren't playing.
jogsuk Posted 16 March 2012 Posted 16 March 2012 Try Bar 66 on braunstone gate, they have a number of screens and cheap beer!!
Bert Posted 16 March 2012 Posted 16 March 2012 O'Neils. Normally good for atmosphere in there. Soar Point is good, cheap IF you have a yellow card and is normally rammed. Really? Knocks about 20p off.
MrFox781 Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012 Anyone know pubs in Birstall that will be showing the game? thanks
The Padster Posted 18 March 2012 Posted 18 March 2012 What's the deal with this Bar66 place? I checked it out on Facebook but couldn't deduce anything from it, what's the atmosphere like? How much are drinks? And most important is anyone else going? I really, really, really, don't want to have to go Soar Point if I can get away with it, I can deal with the glory supporters but the beer tastes like watered down piss. I'm pretty sure the lines ain't been cleaned in about 5 years.
Stand UP... Posted 18 March 2012 Posted 18 March 2012 Best pub in Leicester is Slug and Lettuce. Best place to watch the match?..Slug and Lettuce.
