davieG Posted 19 March 2012 Posted 19 March 2012 What do you think of this ban, is it an infringement on our liberties or are you glad to see this outdated fashion finally banned form the stands? Have you ever stood next to a fan wearing these and hoped that no one would think they were with you.? Has Mr Barclay finally come out on with an initiative to improve the Matchday Experience? Will we see the creation of the 'Flare Boys'? Have your say now!
1964FOX Posted 19 March 2012 Posted 19 March 2012 I feel slighted by this ban as I have short legs. Leicester's own Gok Wan told me I had to wear bootcut flares to make them appear longer. I shall report this Barclay man for discrimination

Fox92 Posted 19 March 2012 Posted 19 March 2012 I've been "in the middle" of a few flares at away games (never at home games), and they don't add to my matchday experience at all.
Guest Bilo Posted 19 March 2012 Posted 19 March 2012 I just worry about the arguments that'll flare up. We don't have to worry too much about what's going on on the pitch though, I'm not sure we have that many flair players.
ScouseFox Posted 19 March 2012 Posted 19 March 2012 I've been "in the middle" of a few flares at away games (never at home games), and they don't add to my matchday experience at all. Bit gay, that.
Jace Posted 19 March 2012 Posted 19 March 2012 Easy way to get around this just hide your flares underneath a pair of baggy jeans then once you are through the turnstiles you can unleash your flares and go mental!
Guest Col city fan Posted 19 March 2012 Posted 19 March 2012 This is pants. I don't care about the bright, flamy things.. But if they ever close 'Flares' night-club in the centre of Derby I'll be well upset! Twas the place where I had my first 'naughty night-club encounter' in the bogs on one pissed up Sat night!! Classy stuff..
Wycombe Fox Posted 19 March 2012 Posted 19 March 2012 I don't know what Ric will have to say about this.
demon_dog Posted 19 March 2012 Posted 19 March 2012 Bah ! I've outgrown mine, and my missus is now using my paisley shirt as a duster, are platform shoes still allowed?
Finnegan Posted 19 March 2012 Posted 19 March 2012 I went to Chelsea in bootleg jeans. ****ing high risk.
