jonthefox Posted 23 March 2012 Posted 23 March 2012 They must be taking defensive lessons from us. http://web.orange.co.uk/article/quirkies/Football_team_smash_scoring_record
HEGGSY Posted 23 March 2012 Posted 23 March 2012 I read about that earlier To be fair they only had 5 players to start with and had to get a few randomers to play.
NewburyFox Posted 23 March 2012 Posted 23 March 2012 Haha impressive! I once won 23-0 in a cup game at like u16s, but the opposition started and finished with 9 men. I was so proud when I bagged my only goal of the game, the 17th roughly. It was the one that killed the game as a contest, so it was crucial really.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 23 March 2012 Posted 23 March 2012 I played for Windsor Torpedo in the sixties, and we racked up 17 goals against Maidenhead Town, who were behind us, in second place. One guy scored eleven for is. His name was Peter Osgood, who went on to play for Chelsea and England!9 ( I got two!)
Saxondale Posted 23 March 2012 Posted 23 March 2012 Robbie and Stuart Bowker, sign 'em up, they sound deadly!

Had exactly the same scenario playing for my Sunday League club. And I also scored the 17th goal . Obviously it was THE most important, well-taken goal of the bunch. They would have been lost without that 17th goal.
ScouseFox Posted 23 March 2012 Posted 23 March 2012 We lost 25-1 once. I was up top. I scored. Did my job. Moral victory. My best mate bagged a hat trick of own goals. One was a left foot volley that he absolutely creamed into the top corner from the edge of the area. He will never come close to scoring a goal that good again in his life.

We won (If I recall correctly) 17-1 once, I was right wing, didnt score once. I was always unselfish but everyone else seem to want to be a hero that day.
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 23 March 2012 Posted 23 March 2012 We won 13-3 once. I scored 10. Triple hat trick. I could have made it
Corky Posted 23 March 2012 Posted 23 March 2012 The biggest win I played in was 7-0, at middle school.
Fox in the North Posted 24 March 2012 Posted 24 March 2012 Lost 14-0 in a six a side game last year, it was awful
MikeyT Posted 24 March 2012 Posted 24 March 2012 One of the players on the losing side, was 60 years old. Even I'd feel confident about taking him on and I suck at playing football!
Tielemans63 Posted 24 March 2012 Posted 24 March 2012 They must have Wheel Power all over the pitch (sorry). I once want on one of those football tours (anyone remember them?), think it was in Torbay actually with Epworth Forest and we beat a local side 18 nil. Even our goalie scored twice. Only one player failed to get on the scoresheet - and that was me playing at right back. Despite the lads all trying to set me up for a goal I still couldn't hit a barndoor from 6 yards. Had literally years of piss-taking after that!
RonnieTodger Posted 24 March 2012 Posted 24 March 2012 My biggest win was a 15-0 at 7 a side level when I was about 10. I played for Epworth Forest and we beat Tornado Huncote. As it was 7-a-side, the formation was 2-3-1 and the striker was the only one that didn't score . Even the keeper chipped in with a penalty. We won the return fixture 6-0 and everyone was devastated. Biggest defeat was 16-2, playing for Kirby and at 9-0 down we got one back and celebrated like mad.
