FuriousFox46 Posted 28 March 2012 Posted 28 March 2012 Must win. It's about time we battered these lot. Since, I have the inconvenience of living nearby. I can safely say, they are awful and should be there for the taking and their fans hate us and will be well up for this.
lcfcadam Posted 28 March 2012 Posted 28 March 2012 Cheap advance train fares mean I'm arriving in Peterborough at 10.40am, a full 3 and a half hours before my mates. Any friendly FT'ers likely to be hitting the Peterborough pubs early and would be up for some extra company? I'm led to believe I'm quite a nice guy...

Head to Wetherspoons, we'll be there as will a lot of City fans as usual.
FuriousFox46 Posted 28 March 2012 Posted 28 March 2012 Head to Wetherspoons, we'll be there as will a lot of City fans as usual. Do the sparingly few Posh fans in Peterborough have it in for us like those here in East Northants?
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 28 March 2012 Posted 28 March 2012 Do the sparingly few Posh fans in Peterborough have it in for us like those here in East Northants? Well I dont know as many Posh fans now as i did the last times we played them, i really hated them especially when we were in League 1. They like to hate Leicester but its more jealousy than anything i think. Tin pot club they are, with fans who all support another team too, usually Man U or Arsenal. The Posh fans came out of the woodwork around 2008, though with the crowds they get it wouldnt seem it!

Because you have to have a Premier League team. Who's yours?" so I reminded her that Leicester aren't in the PL so I don't have one. Another's twitter bio read - "PUFC through and through. My 2nd team is Man City." Also, they refer to as 'the scum'. In fact, just yesterday, I was booed by a crowd of fifteen schoolkids for wearing a Leicester shirt in Oundle!

Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 29 March 2012 Posted 29 March 2012 Are they usually okay with colours in there? Havent heard of trouble before.
Captain... Posted 29 March 2012 Posted 29 March 2012 Just to let you all know I have copyrighted the phrase "Must win game™" I did it about a month a go, I will be sending you bills according to your usage via PM. I intend to retire on this. However, this is a must win game™, not because we need to win to keep our hopes of reaching the play-offs alive but because it is a fvcking tinpot club like Peterborough and we must beat these teams because we are Leicester City and we are better than them in all possible ways.

Bob Weasel Fox Posted 29 March 2012 Posted 29 March 2012 This is a "probably should be winning if we have any aspirations of being involved in the play-off mix" game which i intend to register as my trademark sometime soon . . . . . .
Craig Posted 29 March 2012 Posted 29 March 2012 A comedian methinks. lol Why? Is it unrealistic to suggest that we'll be able to maintain a four point gap this weekend and then beat Doncaster at home?
Simmo86 Posted 29 March 2012 Posted 29 March 2012 Why? Is it unrealistic to suggest that we'll be able to maintain a four point gap this weekend and then beat Doncaster at home? Don't even get him the pleasure of a reply!
Mr. Posh Posted 29 March 2012 Posted 29 March 2012 Not been on here for a while, so thought I'd drop in ahead of saturday. My god, some of you lot don't half talk some rubbish. Never heard anyone refer to Leicester as "the scum". Why would Posh fans be jealous of your underachievement over the past few years? Call us what you like, but you've not beaten this "tin pot" club this season and I don't think you will on Saturday either. Oh, and by the way my second club is Posh reserves. As for pubs to drink in. Not sure about colours in wetherspoons as there was trouble against Forest there a few years ago. Anyway, enjoy your day out and a last chance to stand on the terrace. When you come back next season (deep down you know you will be) you'll all have to sit.
