davieG Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 think it was 4-1-2-2 Not from where I was sitting and unless I'm misinterpreting Pearson talking ahead of today's :- Pearson knows that City must get back to winning ways on the road today after four consecutive away defeats, but he will continue with his adventurous 4-3-3 attacking formation."The three-man attack has worked recently, especially with Ben Marshall behind there, and it gives us a different dimension. He is very versatile and can play across the line. http://www.thisisleicestershire.co.uk/story-15677913-detail/story.html?
Simmo86 Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 Not from where I was sitting and unless I'm misinterpreting Pearson talking ahead of today's :- http://www.thisislei...ail/story.html? It's more of a 4-2-3-1 with Drinkwater and Bamba sitting, leaving Marshall in more of a free role behind Beckford
Simmo86 Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 Not from where I was sitting and unless I'm misinterpreting Pearson talking ahead of today's :- http://www.thisislei...ail/story.html? Can see goals in this one, Peterborough score & concede for fun. Predicting a 3-2 win for either side, wouldn't surprise me if Posh won... we just do crap against sides in bottom half Like this... Pretty much what QPR played the whole of last season with

I bet he thought it was f**king joke that people lost their lives? exactly, this is exactly what he wants. he thinks he's johnny big bollocks because he's sat behind a keyboard. yes what he is saying is offensive, but he's doing it to wind leicester fans up so he can laugh and brag to his mates at school the best thing to do is to just ignore him.

ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 Think the fact he mentioned Hillsborough makes it worse in a 'football world' perspective
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 and comments such as "#4000horribledeaths ...Is there only 4000 going?, thats a shame." dont help
The People's Hero Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 Even with all of them fit, I have no idea what our best midfield is. It might be a case of different midfields for different situations granted, but Wellens, Drinkwater, Danns and King have all been awful at one point or another. Wellens and King on their day are fantastic, but probably not together in a 4-4-2. Danns is full of energy but he is lacking technically and positionally. All that charging about is often partly just because his brain in a good second or two behind most good midfielders in our division. Today actually is probably a day that would suit both Marshall and Gallagher as Posh's closing down of midfielders is appalling, hence all the great goals you see scored against them. Today is a must win for me, regardless of play offs or final league position, this is the sort of place we've been coming unstuck and its the sort of situation NP has to start showing the board that he has the measure of and can deal with. For what its worth, I do fancy us to win today. I just think LCFC will keep the play off dream alive for a few weeks yet, but themselves in a good position and ultimately bottle it last 2 games.
lcfcadam Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 and comments such as "#4000horribledeaths ...Is there only 4000 going?, thats a shame." dont help Of course if everyone just completely ignored these subhuman weirdos then there's every possibility they'd give it up - surely they only post the stuff cos they enjoy getting an angry response?
Tielemans63 Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 Obviously I hope we win today but the last few weeks with all this 'can we / can't we make the playoffs' business have been pretty agonising. Part of me won't be hugely gutted if we do lose and the playoffs are then out of sight. For me, no hope is better than (possible) false hope or am I on my own here?! I'm not being critical of anyone here but I genuinely think we've left it too late and really our recent form hasn't been anything to shout about.

Regarding the play offs, I think you're about right, I just don't think we'll make it. I'd like to see most of this squad kept together, with some decent additions though. As a result, I'd like to see them start winning games like this. Its going to be a real necessity next season.
