Happy Fox Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 give it 5mins until after the whistle for certain fans to be calling for Pearson to get the boot. I wouldn't worry about that the Thais will make up their mind sooner rather than later, This squad of players is good enough for a playoff place at the very minimum and we are underachieving so is it the manager's fault or the players? The manager is always culpable.
CasperBlue Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 What's happened to all these goals that everyone predicted?
FrankieADZ Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 Same ones who wanted Sven out? who knows, more than likely i'd say.
The People's Hero Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 Maybe I was abit contradictory saying you make your own luck, but you generally get more rewards if you work harder, whilst i'm not saying no player goes out not to try hard, we do look like we feel sorry for ourselves if the slightest thing doesn't go our way, we love looking for excuses - that goes for players and fan. Maybe if we tried harder got on with things stopped looking for excuses and just dig in, get on with things, and try a prove points when things don't go our way along with luck we will gain more reward. I'm just sick and tired of players and fans making excuses, similar to fans booing - if fans boo a certain player, If I was the player being booed, personally i'd be out there trying to prove them wrong, trying to make a point, when a referee makes a wrong decision - get on with it, prove a point - It's not nice that he's made the wrong decision and it's not right that they get away with it but instead of feel sorry for ourselves work harder. All nothing to do with luck. Yes, generally ability and application will result in good results - when coupled with the right tactical approach. Luck can be sprinkled in or not but cannot be controlled. Personally, if NP can't get us up for it and playing in every game then for me, he has to go. Why put up with this? He's no doubt paid a fortune and makes the same mistakes over and over again. Uninspiring. In fact, its pathetic. I don't care if they go and win 4-1 today - its still pathetic. With the investment, the money even that NP has spent, plus the time he has now had, some of the results have been inexcusable. I don't believe in knee jerk or in the managerial merry go round, but equally, if something is broken, bloody well fix it.
Cropwellfox Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 Posh have barely kept a clean sheet all season. ****ing clueless once again Leicester
The People's Hero Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 Yup same old people. Third in the form tables before today, dominated the game and missed a hat full of sitters, natural reaction... Sack the manager. What period of games is that form table based on though? NP has a similar points per game return that SGE had. If SGE is not good enough, neither is NP.
cc_star Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 Arseholes for fans, we've got arseholes for fans... What a load of self-entitled wankers most people are Yes we need to win, yes we should be winning but we haven't taken our chances & been punished, that's what happens in football Wonder what Reading & Blackpool fans said when they both got played off the park by Posh a couple of weeks ago as they both lost 3-1 there? We're not very good, we haven't been since NP left & Sousa came in barring a spell of exciting, but ultimately not good enough loanees who for just 4 games looked world-beaters last Febuary before they crumbled & failed badly. Wrong choices have been made at the top level, but no one blames them because they've been generous enough to mortgage the clubs future on their own vanity project & we will continue to pay the price until there's some continuity & some of these talented but ultimately useless players are shipped off their astronomical wage bill & we get players in who want to play for the club & will die for each-other. Roll on May-to-August
Haydos Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 Presume he's talking about football, not whether you stood in dog shit or not Over the course of the season the side that plays with the most, commitment, effort & desire will have more luck than some big time charlies who don't realise you need to put the effort in to make use of your skills That isn't luck. That's forced errors. Completely different. Make your own luck is a bullshit phrase. It might be tongue in cheek and if it is then whatever but it is incorrect.
FrankieADZ Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 Sven still here ???? --I wonder yeah and our budget would be ????
seenitall Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 We'll be 13th tonight if it stays like this.......wasn't that where we were when Sven was elbowed?
BlueSi13 Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 4-3-3 can just **** off, we never score enough goals with it. 4-5-1
Pegosteve Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 We need a kitchen sink to throw at the them unfortunately ours was nicked ages ago.
cc_star Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 What period of games is that form table based on though? NP has a similar points per game return that SGE had. If SGE is not good enough, neither is NP. Sven spent £15m+ to buy the league... NP has signed 2 kids and is stuck with the under-acheivers until the summer... NP should have done better in Oct to Jan, but overall they're obviously incomparable situations.

dave the caveman Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 Bristol City equalised so we move up to 12th. Unfortunately if Brizzle get a winner then we're back at risk of relegation.
samuel Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 As has been said, NP is clueless oon the whole, we always bottle it under him. I still think we may win this game, but still the formation is a gutless bottlers mandate.

I don't believe in knee jerk or in the managerial merry go round, but equally, if something is broken, bloody well fix it. So you would have sacked Sven at the end of last season too? You have to give the manager a pre-season to sort the team out with his own players. Pearson will do that next season. It took him a season to get into things with Hull too adn look where they were when he left them. There is no better manager than NP available at the moment

whoareyaaa Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 we never take our chances ever.. and why is Dyer starting on the Right ? we should be playing 4-4-2 not Nugent on the Left??

You shoot often and get in better positions, you'll have a better chance of scoring. We never take our chances either - Is that luck? No, it's not taking our chances, If we took them we might have a lucky shot go in, work harder, take the chances thats all i'm saying, don't mkae excuses for it. That is an accumulation of - ability, working hard and ultimately luck. - Therefore you make your own luck. Or do you just mean we have to be lucky that signings we make are good, that signings work, that manager changes work? Jesus the whole world revolves on luck.

Guest Col city fan Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 Yup same old people. Third in the form tables before today, dominated the game and missed a hat full of sitters, natural reaction... Sack the manager. I usually agree with you Babs as you know. But if Nige does not sell certain players in the summer and you know who I'm referring to I think, he will lose my confidence in him.
Babylon Posted 31 March 2012 Posted 31 March 2012 We'll be 13th tonight if it stays like this.......wasn't that where we were when Sven was elbowed? Yes we were, but Sven had been here a year and spent over £20m in that time. Pearson as had half that time and spent a heck of a lot less. See the difference?
