Ashley Posted 8 April 2012 Posted 8 April 2012 For as far back as I can remember we never win at Ipswich. We won 2-0 a few years back that's it apart from that we normally get smashed there. 1-0 win for us tomorrow? Think were 2/1 to win.
MC Prussian Posted 8 April 2012 Posted 8 April 2012 Something just tells me that Lady Luck could turn the balances in our favour... After all, THAT farce of a snow game is not forgotten.
MikeyT Posted 8 April 2012 Posted 8 April 2012 Looking at this again. It's just a farce. Diabolical decision to play.
Number 6 Posted 8 April 2012 Posted 8 April 2012 Looking at this again. It's just a farce. Diabolical decision to play. Absolutely crazy. Atwell is a tool and a half.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 9 April 2012 Posted 9 April 2012 Only decent results i can remember getting there are the quarter final win in the coca cola cup in 97 and when we won around 2007 where i think McAuley scored.
Zingari Posted 9 April 2012 Posted 9 April 2012 We should have our tails up for a win today . Not easy but we'll take it by a single goal
Callabinho Posted 9 April 2012 Posted 9 April 2012 We won't turn up, we never seem to beat Ipswich I'd say they are our bogey team. Plus Chopra loves finding the net against us.
Kilworthfox Posted 9 April 2012 Posted 9 April 2012 If you attack and make a game of it and if we show bottle and do likewise then I'd fancy a cheeky punt on us knicking it by a goal or two. Our biggest weakness this season has been complacency against ****ing useless teams who come and park the bus and I don't think Ipswich at home are going to fit that description. Still have to make you marginal favourites though because, to be honest, we probably won't turn up and attack with the pace and the enthusiasm we should do, we'll probably show up and go out like a damp squib because that's just how our season's gone. Yes Finners!
Danny the Fox 95 Posted 9 April 2012 Posted 9 April 2012 But Mummy said no? Ipswich will win, and then people on here will come on and say 'PEARSON OUT' and then they'll say that the Thais don't know what they are doing.
KidKunny Posted 9 April 2012 Posted 9 April 2012 Agent Wes Morgan will deal with Chopra Appropriately of course...
Cropwellfox Posted 9 April 2012 Posted 9 April 2012 Will take a defeat today and then smash them next year when it really matters.
Zingari Posted 9 April 2012 Posted 9 April 2012 Will take a defeat today and then smash them next year when it really matters. it still matters this year
EverybodyDannsNow Posted 9 April 2012 Posted 9 April 2012 3-0 Ipswich. I could literally put my house on a loss after that big home win against Donny. You know somethings not right when you can confidently predict a loss against a team towards the bottom of the league. The joys of supporting Leicester City.
Corky Posted 9 April 2012 Posted 9 April 2012 We will literally implode as a club today. I can feel the tension.
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 9 April 2012 Posted 9 April 2012 Play like we did on Saturday and we'll beat Real Madrid let alone Ipswich. Smashing bunch of lads always striving to redouble their efforts
SirBobbyStand_ITFC Posted 9 April 2012 Author Posted 9 April 2012 3-0 Ipswich. I could literally put my house on a loss after that big home win against Donny. You know somethings not right when you can confidently predict a loss against a team towards the bottom of the league. The joys of supporting Leicester City. We're only 3 points behind you.
Corky Posted 9 April 2012 Posted 9 April 2012 Ipswich's home form has been good in recent weeks. I doubt they will be very low on confidence, unlike the team we faced there last year (after six straight defeats).
stourbridgefox Posted 9 April 2012 Posted 9 April 2012 I've got a feeling we are due a bit of a winning run. So I think we will win today. I still don't think we will make the playoffs though. Ipswich are similar to us in so far as they gave a pot of money to the wrong manager. I would like to think that the money spent on our squad last season can mostly still come good. Looking at Ipswich from a distance though, the money spent does not seem to have improved them.
Dylan Posted 9 April 2012 Posted 9 April 2012 Play like we did on Saturday and we'll beat Real Madrid let alone Ipswich. Smashing bunch of lads always striving to redouble their efforts Very exaggerated... as good as we were, Doncaster were incredibly awful- probably the worst defence I've seen at the KP for a long while, could get through with ease. And we let them have 2 sitters which they should've put away.
HEGGSY Posted 9 April 2012 Posted 9 April 2012 Ipswich's home form has been good in recent weeks. I doubt they will be very low on confidence, unlike the team we faced there last year (after six straight defeats). And we still lost .Albeit in ridiculous conditions.
SaM 12 Posted 9 April 2012 Posted 9 April 2012 Play like we did on Saturday and we'll beat Real Madrid let alone Ipswich. Smashing bunch of lads always striving to redouble their efforts Are you joking!! we were no better than average on saturday and were made to look alot better than we were.
