Let's get Sven back

No thanks ta, he was useless like NP is now, the saying never go back is relevant always has been. Sven would of done well had we made the prem but he isn't cut for the challenges of this division, NP is the same he is a competent manager but lacks the know how to get teams promoted from this division.

that seems to be from a small minority of fickle fans, the majority are behind Pearson.

Source? Proof? Of course not!.

I suspect the vast majority don't care one way or the other. They are the ones not on this site.

We have a split in our views, to which all and sundry are entitled. As I have stated before, nothing any of us say, will make any difference whatsoever.

At the end of the day, it will the Thais who make the final decision. Their one objective was promotion THIS season, so I read.

I'll also bet the poor saps who went to Millwall yesterday are right behind Nige

He's not going to get sacked. The wouldn't have given him a long contract if they were goning to sack him in the summer. When he was appointed the top 2 was near impossible, so it was only the playoffs available, and they can be like the lottery. The Thai's will have known this would be the most likely scenario come the summer.

He is on a 2 Year Contract which was largely based around bonuses if he got us promoted this season. They wanted a fast revival.

Where does that come from? Was it not a two and a half year contract?

Mick McCarthy took 3 years to get Wolves promoted and hardly established them in the Premier League.

He would not get 3 years here.

Yes and haven't they thrived and moved on since his departure. Absolute twat of a post.

Sorry but why is that a "twat of a post", it's a very valid point. Many of the people calling for Pearson to go have mentioned McCarthy. who actually took two years and three years respectively to get Sunderland and Wolves promoted.

If people aren't prepared to give Sven more than a year, or Pearson more than five months, why would they give anyone three years to achieve promotion.

It seems to me that some people will only be happy with a miracle worker who walks into a club and is an instant success. How often has that happened to us, or to any other team out there?

We need a manager who has more than a promotion from League One on his CV

So...got to be Chris Powell.

I'm sure I heard it was a 2 year one, Sven was on longer but looked what happened to him...

Sven had a two year contract (well more like a year and a half), and was already a year into it when he got fired. His contract was up this summer. Pearsons has two more years to run after this one.

So...got to be Chris Powell.

Sorry must have missed the point of that post ? what was it again. Was it a yes for McCarthy or a no ? you decide.

It's a... why do are people wanting a manager who takes years to get teams promoted when many weren't prepared to give Sven a year or Pearson 5 months. It's quite simple.
