accessory Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 Taking in the atmosphere as well then where you? I agree our 'support' is awful. Third poor home game on the spin. Even an apologist like you must find that difficult to swallow.. Meanwhile I love how the other Pearson threads seem to have done an Andy King in the last few hours. Well done to the mods for respecting diversity in our fanbase...
stourbridgefox Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 I think many people miss the point that the damage was done when we got rid of Pearson the first time. Pearson is just trying to put right the damage done by Sousa and Sven, while at the same time trying to live up to his successful predecessor, Nigel Pearson. So from my point of view, let's hope he doesn't get too paranoid about Neil Lennon being at the game tonight!
accessory Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 I think we should replace Pearson and install a managerial position which can be held by about one thousand disgruntled and unhappy Pearson haters. They'll surely do a better job than him. Anyone will do. Better make that ten thousand. The tide is turning very quickly right now, and not for the first time...
Mark_w Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 Third poor home game on the spin. Even an apologist like you must find that difficult to swallow.. If you mean am I disappointed we didn't win then yes, if you mean is it the end of the world that we drew and we should sack Nigel Pearson then no. If you think Doncaster was a poor game then go see a doctor.
Haydos Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 Interesting word, "farce" - it came to mind a lot during this evening's proceedings. Can't think why... You're just replying to anything with "we're already not doing average, let's just do anything but this, it can't get any worse. We're mid table ffs, not bottom.
flowwolf Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 I'm surprised people are shocked at that display tonight , after all this was typical hoof ball no brain football that Pearson peddle the last time he was manager , remember ? nothing has changed he is out of his depth and the players know it and after that booing tonight so do the majority of the fans . Bye bye Nigel.

Bye bye Nigel. The poll tells a different story. But no I'm sure that one draw with Burnley has changed the mind of the 40% who would need to shift their thought pattern to make that statement correct.
MC Prussian Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 Spot the difference - which one's our home record and which one our away record? Look at this table and tell me what issue I could have with it (apart from its overtly use of grey and shades of grey, mind you).
BNET Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 Anyone who thinks NP should go needs their head checking. Why ? please explain.

jonlcfc1990 Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 out of his depth? when he's the only manager to ever get us in to the play offs? In that case we better get Micky Adams lined up to replace him clearly we need a man who knows all about getting out of this league...

Brian Little & MON might have something to say about Pearson being the only manager EVER to get us in the play-offs. Micky Adams has managed to get us out of this league (under much tougher circumstances) I may add. Pearson hasn't.
Zingari Posted 18 April 2012 Posted 18 April 2012 Why ? please explain. It's very simple , he has not had enough time to significantly affect any real changes . He very well not be the right bloke , I really don't know , but please , just have a little patience friends . we have no divine right to be successful , we have to build methodically , and it will take time.
cityfanlee23 Posted 18 April 2012 Posted 18 April 2012 I dont want nigel to be sacked, but i would love to see Neil warnock get sacked from dirty Leeds and come to us! I'm aware it won't be a popular view, but I'd rather be in the Championship with Nigel than in the Premier League with Colin.

Ambitious IMO i would have any manager as long as he could keep us in the premiership!
chris_lcfc_85 Posted 18 April 2012 Posted 18 April 2012 Nigel Pearson is the obvious candidate. Changing manager now would make us become a CIRCUS!
bald reynard Posted 18 April 2012 Posted 18 April 2012 Nigel Pearson is the obvious candidate. Changing manager now would make us become a CIRCUS! I don't disagree - but believe that Powell is the man WHEN Pearson goes (which could be sooner than many fans want / think !).
artursteppe Posted 18 April 2012 Posted 18 April 2012 Theres a lot of calls for Pearson to be sacked so I wanted to get the opinion of our loyal fans on if you were to replace him who you would bring in My choices last time were Di Matteo ( whom we could have approached as he was only on a short term contract at Chelsea, so was available in theory ), or Curbishley. Probably no chance of either now. Best bet now because we do not seem to be as big a club as we thought - Mark McGhee.
theessexfox Posted 18 April 2012 Posted 18 April 2012 Cba to read the whole thread but early on someone said no one say Billy Davies. I wanted Billy Davies after Sven was sacked. Never mind his rival connection, he is a class manager who can motivate our players, which they need.
