Leeds United v Leicester City Post Match Thread.

In a massively frustrating season, a young man has put a big smile on everyone's face connected to Leicester City. How long to pre-season ????

I'm not sure on this but I think we got the first and last goal in the championship this season.

I'd agree with that! Early kick-off and ANOTHER 90 mins + winner against Leeds!

p.s. the IP address thingy at the bottom freaks me out!

No we didn't. Taylor-Fletcher scored the first goal of this season, was against a Nigel Pearson team though.

WE CAN'T SPELL YOUR NAME

WE CAN'T SPELL YOUR NAAAAAAAAAAAAAME!

HARRY PANAYIOTOU

WE CAN'T SPELL YOUR NAME!

Great end to a desperately disappointing season. We need an overhaul in midfield especially, where we are unacceptably lightweight and short of battlers. Some nasty bastards needed.

Defensively, a new right-back needed in my opinion.

Up front, a mobile target man. I suspect Howard has departed to make way for such a replacement.

On the subject of departures, we need a few to leave to get rid of the deadwood.

It's going to be another interesting summer.

I think Blackpool played Hull on the Friday night of the opening weekend, and won 1-0 - Taylor-Fletcher. So I don't think we did, but I might be wrong.

We didn't even score early on against Cov, surely teams bagged before us on the Saturday aswell?

Nice end to a season that's been a massive disappointment.

Very pleased for Panayiotu on his debut. Really nice for Waghorn to get a goal back on his first start for months as well. Vassell sounded very good too.

Now a long 3 months of no footy. What will we all do on a Saturday afternoon now.

Where's the yute from? What position did he play?

Crap season with a nice ending. We need at least 5 signings in specific roles to be a force next year. Right back, holding mid, attacking mid, winger, striker.

Popped the old teletext on and saw 94th minute winner Panayiotou, assumed it was a typo at first.

Well done kid, well done Waggy.

Pearson sounds more peaved off than when we've lost a game.

lol he obviously knows the season hasn't been anywhere near good enough...

Nice way to end a disappointing season, great moment for Panayio Harrison Harry H to score on his debut. Won £120 on a footy bet too. :)

We all know that won't happen.

Whats more is that it looks as if he wrote that before we got the winner? lol

I did, however I'd have wrote it regardless if we won well, can anyone deny this hasn't been a poor, disappointing, frustrating season? I was really commenting on this game like I said if have wrote it even if we were 4-0 up by half time, I was more summing up the season rather than the game.

I was a realist, I didn't expect to walk the league, I didn't expect us finish 2nd, I didn't even expect is to finish 3rd, I did expect a minimum of finishing within the playoffs and that means 6th, also I expected alot better and consistent performances. If anyone does think that isn't pathetic, poor, disappointing, underachieving, frustrating, then so be it. I was optimistic, I was pessimistic, I was a realist, unfortunately that can often be perceived as pessimism amongst the over optimists.

Well done today lads, we won, it's too little too late and doesn't make up for a poor season.

All that said let's look forward to August and hopefully alot better season that this.

You can hear Stringer getting pissed off with Pearson. One day, I reckon he'll just lose it and tell Nigel to **** off. Stringer didn't even ask him to name names, lol.

I bloody love the Stringer/Pearson post match standoff/interview lol
